Ay yo, wassup ppls. Dis is a story about some girlfriends and their journey through middle school and a war. Now that I think about it, those two are basically the same thing, but whatevs. Don't expect this to be good. I'm gonna steal some writing techniques from my besties Oreoz_R_Savagez and PinkGalaxy333 . Go check out their accounts, they have awesome stories. So anyway, Ik I'm boring u so... here's the first chapter. Baiii

Allysa's POV

First day of school baby! Woo!!! Actually, I'm not excited at all, I'm pretty sad about it. Summer break was AWESOME. And now we're in eighth grade. One more year until high school. Ohhhh booyyyy. But I am excited to see my girlfriends. Girlfriends as in besties, not as in relationship girlfriends. Just clearing that up for ya :) But anyway, I am excited about hanging out with them and getting to see them after the break.
I arrive at school and just as I'm about to walk in the door, I hear someone yelling my name behind me. "Ally! Ally!" I turn around. "Oh, hey Aria!" I run up and hug one of my besties, Aria Lerakix. "It's been so long since I've seen you!" She exclaims. "I know! It's been, like, forEVER!" I say.
I open my mouth to say something else, but I feel a tap on my left shoulder. I turn to the left, there's no one there, and I feel another tap, but on my right shoulder. I turn to the right, but there's no one there, and I feel ANOTHER tap on my left shoulder, so I turn to the right and see another one of my besties, Lillie Zephiel. "Dang it!" I yell. "Why do I always fall for that!" Lillie laughs, "I've been doing that to you since second grade, Allysa," She says. I look at Aria and she nods her head. I groan and stuff my hands in my pockets. "Not fair," I murmur in a pouty tone. Aria and Lillie laugh at me. "How DARE you, you little-"
I start to run at them and I feel someone cover my mouth with one hand and hold me back with the other. I push the person off of me, only to see another bestie, Kaytlyn Cobalt, giving me what I like to call "The Mom Look" and standing with her hands on her hips. "I don't even know what you were gonna do to them or say to them, but I'm glad I stopped you before you did anything." She says with a motherly tone. "Sorry mom." I say sarcastically. She gives me a light punch, "Shut up, baka."
I look around, we're only missing one person, "Now we're just waiting on-" "WASSUP PEOPLES! YAH YEET!" "There she is." Ruby Auv'priom, another one of my crazy besties, runs up and greets everyone with an overexcited group hug.
After Kaytlyn calms her down and gets her to stop screaming random things for no reason, we all walk in the front doors, for the last first-day of middle school. Since Kaytlyn was loved by all teachers, we got her to sweet-talk the teachers into putting us all in the same classes a few weeks before summer break ended. It came as no surprise to any of us (except Lillie who was convinced that the teachers weren't stupid enough to actually put us all in the same classes) that it worked. So we all proceeded to walk into homeroom, which was Mrs. Hobert's class, and were greeted with absolute chaos.

   Kaytlyn's POV

Mrs. Hobert was in another class across the hall, which left all the kids to do whatever they wanted. It's quite impossible to get a "good" homeroom in middle school, although I wish there was. There were kids in the corner doing drugs, kids standing in their desks playing their instruments as loud as humanly possible, and as bad as humanly possible. There were kids sitting on the floor with headphones in, reading books and ignoring everyone else on the world, kids on their phones, yelling about the video game they're playing, kids beating each other up playfully, kids actually beating each other up, and us.
I look at my friends, and try to read their expressions. Aria and Ruby are cringing at how badly the kids on the desks are playing their instruments, Lillie just looks annoyed at everyone being alive, Allysa has headphones in and appears to be laughing at the fights that are happening, and I'm envying the kids in the back who are reading, listening to music, and ignoring the world.

Lillie's POV

I look around at everyone in the class. This is going to be a fun year. (That was sarcastic if you couldn't tell). FINALLY, the bell rings and everyone runs out the door and into their first period classes. We're the last ones to exit the classroom, and Aria takes the lead as we walk to our first period. We all talk about our summers as we walk, and then we finally make it to our first period, Math.
Now, I've never liked math, none of us have. Well, except for Allysa, but she's weird. We are instructed by the teacher to find a table, sit down, and take out the cheap math books they made us buy. The five of us sit down at a table together and everyone gets out their math books. Allysa and Ruby share Ruby's math book, since Allysa was too lazy to actually buy the math book, and just ended up re-using school materials from last year for everything else. I honestly don't know what to do with her anymore. The teacher tries to calm the class down and ends up yelling and blowing some stupid whistle that he has for some unknown reason. Class starts and I only hear the first few words of the teachers boring voice before I fall asleep.
I feel a hard punch on my shoulder and hear Kaytlyn's voice, "Aria! That's not how you wake people up!" I look up and see all the girls standing up in front of me. "Well apparently it is, because it worked." Aria replies with a hint of sass. Kaytlyn rolls her eyes at us and starts walking away. Aria and Allysa drag me out of my seat and help me regain my balance. I rub my eyes and we head to second period.

Aria's POV

The day goes by SO SLOWLY. The boys are all dumb, all day in every class. It's like they're trying to torture us. If they are, they are succeeding. By the time we get to fifth period, I'm ready to leave. We had lunch right after third period and we had connections as fourth period. Not counting homeroom, this is technically our last class of the day. THANK GOD. Once we all get situated, the teacher begins class.
Halfway through the lesson, we hear something that sounded like an explosion. Everyone is confused and after a few minutes the teacher continues with the lesson. Five minutes after that, the principal comes on the intercom. "I'm sorry to interrupt you're lessons, but, teachers, please have you and your students go to your assigned Tornado Drill destinations and remain there until further notice. This is not a drill. Thank you." Everyone starts freaking out and, after about ten minutes, we all get against the wall curled up and stay there. Before I got against the wall, I caught a glimpse out the window and saw...

Haiii!!! I hope you enjoyed the first chapter! I would say sorry for the cliffhanger, but I'd be lying. Thanks for reading anyway tho! This was a relatively happy chapter, but as the story goes on, there will be a lot darker themes and blood and gore and war and all that good stuff, so if that bothers you, I recommend that you either read at your own pace or don't read at all. If you like that stuff, then lucky you! Anyway... I'll see y'all in da next chapter Baiiiiiii!!!!!!
