"Hello Delos nice to finally meet you" I said casually. I was bored and wanted to see his reaction. I had to bite the corner of my cheek to stop myself from laughing. Delos looked like he saw a ghost (excuse the cliche). His eyes bulged, morbidly i wondered if they would pop out of his eye sockets. He was really badly hurt as there was a very deep slash in his arm and he was already very pale.

"Rashel? Is that you?...No...It's not possible is it?...please help i desperately need help." Delos said in a shocked but relieved voice. He sounded very weak. Of course he must be weak. I mentally chided myself. But he should be strong enough to heal himself i breifly "remembered".

"In case you have'nt noticed, I have a pair of eyes...I can see you need help...But, I will only help you if you give me information about who or what you're running from..." I replied amused. No matter how weak he was he should be able to sense i was not my mother, anyway he should know that she's dead...He killed her himself.

"What are you talking about Rashel? You know what they'll do if they find you or me they'll kill us...And your precious daughters. Now stop wasting time and help me!" Delos yelled sounding-understandably-annoyed.

"Firstly my name is not "Rashel" it's Raksha. Secondly, I want information.Thirdly if you want to live and get better you'll just listen to me!" I yelled.Okay I'll admit I have no right to be mad at Delos. He was hurt and delusional but another of my big problems was anger management.

"Rashe-I mean Raksha-Impossible you can't-you should'nt be able to do this! Your aura should'nt be so similar to your mother's. How do you know who i am-Stupid question."Delos started blabbering. Then as if remembering me he started to say "Look i promised your mother-"

"The hell with the promise! There is no way to keep us all safe now. Just tell me what you know or i swear i will kill you!"I yelled-anger management remember- anyway i was dead serious.

"Fine heal me first then i promise to tell you-wait you probably don't know how. Maybe you could take me to a hospital...."Delos trailed off suggestively

"Don't under estimate me, I know how to heal properly. This is where I train." I grumbled walking over "Now swear on something precious to you that you will tell me what i want to know immediately after i heal you and no tricks...UNDERSTOOD!" I yelled.

"Understood." Delos said sounding seriously annoyed. I guessed I figured out his plan to run and tell me a sentence or two years later or more likely never. Feeling smug, I gently touched his wound and focused on the wound closing and fading into a scar than nothing. However, i did not use so much energy that Delos would receive some power-I did not trust him not to erase my memory immediately after telling me what happened-only enough to heal the wound, healing like that took me just over a year to learn.

Delos, however looked like i had turned into Medusa. "I don't know much about our enemies only that they are scientists determined to create a new super race. People like us...They took convicts from jails, we were'nt told much...only that if we agreed to their experiment, every crime we committed would be pardoned...Your mother, father and I were jailed for murder...It was my fault we got dragged into the experiment...I thought that to be experimented on would be better than being hanged. Your parents refused at first but then i succeeded in persuading them to accepting the 'treatment'. We were the first to survive, slowly we learnt how control our powers. More and more of "us" were created and we formed a well trained army. Rashel was the first to realise something was wrong when she called her parents...They did not know who she was, slowly she realised that the scientists removed the memory of family members, people who knew us when we were normal. Thus we had no home to return to. After many discussions, about 50 others decided to escape. Your mother escaped with your father, but your father was killed. Rashel found me and well i think you know the rest..." Delos explained

"How do we tell one of our kind apart from a human? How do we protect ourselves?" i asked forcing myself to stay calm. I was one of the daughters of Rashel and Quinn, they would have wanted us all safe. But i sensed alot of danger...

"Our kind are easy to tell apart from humans.

1.Our eyes as you might notice

2.humans rarely associate with us, maybe they sense something is not right with our kind

3.Our energy aura...Thats about it...oh yeah our kind is not really sociable. To protect ourselves, we should be as human-like as possible (much as we hate it), hide our aura and disguise the anti-social attitude. This is another safe place only extremely strong people of our kind can enter this clearing-I'm not sure why-and humans we allow in here."

I knew why though. It was too keep Lisa and Jade out of here because if either of them found out i was as good as dead. I looked at the ground guiltily. Delos obviously saw my guesture and smirked.

"And i'm guessing you're the reason why." He said smugly. The idiot.

"Thank you Delos...Don't blame yourself for my parents death...they made the best of the life they had and lived it with almost no regrets" I said from his story i could tell he blamed himself. Smiling i knew one thing...I would not tell Lissa and Jade about our parent's past. Appearing in my room i was about to quickly do my homework when it hit me. The vision was full of terror and death...I knew then...The danger was coming...
