Chapter 1: Congrats

" Congratulations, Zara", Klara, my Agent, excitedly said threw the phone," You deserve that role. It suits you quite well."

"Thanks", I said as I move my dress on my body uncomfortably," but did you really have to send me a dress that is made for a teenager to my house."

I continue to move the dress around trying to cover my pale thighs."You must dress to impress, girl", she said with her heavy sassy accent, " Plus your now are acting for one of the biggest filming studios around and you can't look like a hillbilly on the sidewalk." 

"Yeah but I don't want to look like a slut either," I explained.

"Excuse me, don't dare start slut-shaming yourself. I bet you look like a million bucks in that dress. Plus the maroon on the dress makes your skin shine super bright." Klara explained.

"Thanks that's really going to make me feel better about the dress," I sarcastically remarked.

I kept walking until I saw the studio number." I think I see the studio number," I said nervously," it is studio six, right?"

"Yes," She exclaimed, "make sure you keep me in touch with it and don't let any of those snobby actors tell you what to do okay baby."

"Yes ma'am," I hanged up as I walked towards the studio.

The clopping of my high heels hit the floor as I walked. I saw a lot of busy people walk around me all getting the set ready for the movie. There were people carrying props and scenery to the set and people checking light and cameras. I could also feel the pressure of eyes watching me as I walked towards the detector and my new fellow actors and actresses. I shifted my long wavy black hair out of my face and slowly walked into the group. "Ahh", the director said and threw his hand towards me as if he wanted a hug," and there she is..." he walks to me and put his hand out to shake, "Zara the mysterious actress that will be playing our newest hero and become our newest cast member."

"Hello, just tell me where to go first ", I told him in a soft tone as shook his hand.

He smiled and," it great that you're ready to start working but first you must know who your working with."

He turned to the rest of the people in his group waved them to come over, which they did with smiles on their faces. He then pointed to the strong man in the middle," This is Lucas or as you'll be calling him Max the Angel."

Lucas reaches out his hand for a handshake and said, "Nice to meet you."

I accepted his handshake and smiled," Nice to meet you, too."

Lucas had a heavy accent that made him sound like he lived in some part of Europe or Australia. He was wearing a stretchy black shirt that had made it olive skin look darker in the sun and made his short dirty blonde hair stand out. I could really tell why he was a lot of fangirls dream guy. He was tall, ripped, and nice. Sadly for those girls is that he's married and has three children. Which good for me that the children aren't here. Don't get me wrong, I like children. It's just with my condition I rather not be around them.

"and this is Alexander, who will be playing the green warrior or Robert"

"Pleasure to meet you," Alexander said as we shook hands.

Alexander, unlike Lucas, had a dark curly hair color, pale skin, and defiantly had a British accent. He taller but was not as ripped as Lucas. I knew a little bit such as he was married and that he loved acting but other than that he kind of kept to himself. It is a good thing cause I do the same thing. I get worried that if I get too close to people they'll get hurt." The pleasure is all mine," I sweetly responded.

I felt like I was being rushed along and began to shake hands and greet everyone in the group. Then, I froze my heart started pounding and I felt myself shaking. It was them. The two people I wished never to see again. The two people who saw my worst secret imaginable."Hiii", said the tall woman as she ran to me like a bullet," I'm Cadence, and I going to be playing your Leader, Zora. Isn't is exciting, I'm so happy to see you again. We are going to have so much fun."

"Wait do you two know each other", asked the director as he gave us a confused look.

"Yes," Cadence exclaimed," We met her when she......."

"When she came into a party in Beverley Hills," said the man Cadence was with," you should have seen this girl drink. She drank six-packs of beer in thirty minutes and wasn't puking everywhere afterwards."

That wasn't how we met at all. Maybe he was mistaking me for someone else. The location was kind of right we were in Beverley Hills but we didn't meet in a house. We met on a street corner.

" Okay?" the director was puzzled and turned to me and said," Cadence and David will show you to your dressing room. There you'll need to change into your costume and will have a makeup team ready to work on making you Loreley, the ocean's daughter."

"Come on, this way," said David.

I could feel my instances telling me that there was a danger if I followed him, but I had to push the feeling aside even though I knew it was right. I followed David but I kept my guard up. We got close to what I thought was a dressing room. I started to notice that fewer people were around us. Then Cadence grabs my arm, cover my mouth, and pushed me into the room. While David watched and went in behind us shutting the door behind him.
