“My two best friends are TEENAGE SUPERSTARS.” I look up at Jerome and grin. “Aaaah! I can’t believe it!”

“Neither can i.” He says honestly, and I run at him, and tackle him with a massive hug.

“Leliah!” He says, with a laugh.

“I’m so freaking proud of you Jerome Edmund Morgan!” I say with a smile. “AAAAAAH! I CAN’T BELEVE IT!”

“Hey, Hey.” Jerome says, carefully pushing me of him. “Leilah, don’t break my spine.”

“NUMBER NINETEEN! NUMBER NINTEEN!” I let out an ear-piercing squeal. “OH MY GOD!”

“Leliah, I like my eardrums the way they are, thank you very much.” Liam says, softly in my ear. I jump and let out another scream.

“Liam!” I say, whirling around, about to scold him, and suddenly it’s like, I don’t know, I can’t explain it, but our faces are so close that I can feel his breathe, the sound stops and for a second I think I’ve stopped breathing. Liam stares at me for a second and edges back a bit, Jerome coughs awkwardly. I stiffen.

“I’m going to go get a… a… s-something.” I say, embarrassed, backing away.

I look at Liam for a second, counting up to ten, waiting until Leliah goes, and then I turn to Liam.

“Don’t get me wrong.” I say, crossing my arms. “I like you Liam, I really do, But if you mess with Leilah, If you break her heart, I will break you.”
