CHAPTER- 53

"Not on the wrong ones Shivay"
The heated up argument continued until Omkara confessed his actual fear.

"I am scared Shivay, I am plainly afraid to think about the dark future what your stupidities are showing. At first you gave your own company to Rudra which you built to a top name just like your own baby. What Rudra did? He simply enjoyed all the profits and then suddenly after few months declared his dislike in handling that company. By that time, the company shrunk to debt which took an entire year to get revived, after that that company never saw the face of profit. You forgave Rudra for all this, okay fine but now you are giving up your shares on our company and gifting them to me? For what? Just to let this company to fall down? Just to let your another baby to fall down? No Shivay, last time you did what you felt correct but not this time" Omkara argued upon, trying to state every valid point that is almost impossible to cut off.

"I trust you Om, I know that you and I have worked day and night to take this company to where it is today but apart from this I have our family company to take care of and now this new business in NY. I am having a secured future, please Om please accept it" Shivay requested.

Omkara shared about his fear of drifting apart from his brothers after few years because of property to which Shivay promised to hold them together always. The brothers discussed further about the company policies as Rudra heard everything silently from beginning ending up in misunderstandings. While Omkara feared of the bond breakage, Shivay feared about his wife's and mother's decision and Rudra feared about his own capabilities. All three saw was a dark future ahead for the three brothers.

Few more days passed, Rudra has become way more silent and this didn't go unnoticed by anyone. Anika tried talking about the same to Rudra but he ignored and preferred avoiding every family member. Lastly receiving a message from Soumya, Anika thought the reason for Rudra's negligence to be Soumya. In the message Soumya has clearly mentioned about meeting Anika urgently. Were they dating and now they want to marry? Anika drew conclusion out of nowhere and became happy. She knows how much Rudra cares about Soumya and how much good person Soumya is, thus, if this matter is all about their love and marriage then Anika would be the first one to nod an yes to their decision.

Anika confirmed their meeting, the next day sending an yes in reply. The entire day she tried talking to Rudra but his ignorant behavior left her agitated and hurt. She shared it with Shivay but decided to share about her meet to Soumya after it is done. Shivay too sounded low.

"Has anything happened between you siblings?" Anika asked.

"Nothing D, I just don't know what all is going on is correct or not but please promise me that whatever happens, you would always be by my side" his eyes were moist and pain was evident in his voice.

"I am always there with you bub, but what is the matter?" she tried knowing but seeing him not replying, she left it thinking of it as his business related problem.

She had faith over him, and his brothers and the sisters won't ever do any such thing that would hurt him so pushing aside all the negative thoughts she prepared herself for interviewing Soumya not knowing the actual reason. That night she excitedly shared the matter with Ishana about her meet to Soumya, thus making Ishu excited too. Anika even teased Ishana saying Soumya got the sooner chance to marry and Ishu is still happily unmarried. Ishana taunted her sister naming Shivay, saying that it is her Shivay jiju's credit that he accepted her dumb sister without any denial and without any questions.

"I just wonder what Shivay jiju has seen in you to choose you" Ishana chuckled.

Both sisters discussed about their respective partners and confessed how much lucky they are. Anika confessed her wish to see Ishana in Oberoi house as daughter-in-law really soon. Ishana blushed at the comment and tried ignoring the matter inviting more of teasing from her elder sister. Time passed soon turning the moon to sun and stars to rays.

As Anika walked inside the cafeteria Soumya has invited her, she noticed Soumya in tension. Is it really the matter of marriage? She thought while stepping close to her another younger sister. After exchanging warm greetings, both Anika and Soumya sat silent for minutes.

"What is the matter Soumya? Everything is alright right?" Anika asked keeping her hand above Soumya's.

"No di" came Soumya's blunt reply.
After waiting for more number of minutes Anika asked again. She saw a hesitation rising up over Soumya's face. Anika suggested to not share if it way too personal or something which may affect her image but Soumya closed her eyes and sighed deep.

"I want to share something which would turn all the relations upside down. You may think of me as selfish or anything but after much of sufferings it was your name that flashed in my mind to get out of all these" listening to Soumya Anika's heartbeats raised its pace.

She feared of that what was coming. Sitting silently she heard Soumya narrating everything that she can never imagine. A young aged girl had these many sufferings? This hit her hard as Soumya further narrated her story. Anika fisted her palm as tears made way through her eyes and left a painful sigh. Gulping down that painful lump she slowly brushed Soumya's hand trying to soothe a bit of her pain. Lastly Soumya mentioned that what hit Anika hard. No... this can't happen, she has known Soumya and Sahana enough to figure out their relation. But she knows themselves as the puppet of almighty's play.

"I don't know what to do di, I just need your help urgently" Soumya requested folding hands.

Tears forgot to stop and Anika was blank to reply. One side it had her family's happiness and at other side it was her sister, Soumya.

"I will have to share it to Shiva..."

"No di, I know jiju won't accept. He thinks me as his sister indeed but this is a huge proposal and after my rejection to his brother, I have seen him growing indifferent to me" Soumya interrupted.

Her face has turned red by constant crying and her eyes have swollen up.

"But it is only Shivay who can take care of this entire matter" Anika said.

"But it will only be him whose decision may result into destruction as well" Soumya argued.

"Trust me Soumya" Anika's voice held love and care and at the same time trust over her husband.

Soumya asked further about Anika's meet to Shivay. Anika answered it to be on their first anniversary which is after few months. Soumya after calculating the days gave into Anika's proposal and asked her to do everything soon.

"It is Omkara's birthday tomorrow, please join us sister" Anika extended the invitation.

Visiting Oberoi mansion means meeting Rudra, and that was important for Soumya, thus she accepted the invitation and agreed to visit. She reminded Anika about Sahana's age and requested to do everything soon, at least before Sahana turns three. Anika promised of trying every possible way and asked the last question to listen to that shocking part yet again.

"When did all these problems started?"

"The day my bhabhi's maternal family got to know that Sahana's isn't my daughter" Soumya sighed as she looked down.

She hated the term blood relation because love, is what all matters in a relation for her.

Heyyy everyone, here the suspense part of the story begins. I was actually missing this so thought to add it before adding anymore romance. Let's check all the relations before proceeding further, right? And let me know about the part. And this part needs few edittings which I would do by night so enjoy and this coming Sunday I may not post any chapter.
