"Ugh, my boss was at it again.", Light said as he walked into the apartment. Ryuk looked up from his apple gift basket. "Oh that, 'I'm having a heart attack, help'. What is this like your 10th boss?" Ryuk said. Light looked at the basket with a questioning look but continued the conversation. "Well 12th actually,but Yeah. They really need to give them better Kira insurance." "You know, I heard she was cheating on her husband with the CEO. So I guess she had it coming.", Ryuk said while chewing his fifth apple. Ryuk added, "In both ways one could say." "You know I wasn't gonna say anything, but-", Ryuk interrupted light. "Then don't". "You might wanna slow down on those apples or even better ,just stop eating them." Light said emphasizing the stop a little to much. "Listen" Ryuk said with a sigh. "I know you think I have, tsk, a problem. But these are fucking delicious," Ryuk through his tenth apple in the air, caught it,took a bite out of his apple. "so you can shut up." Ryuk stared at Light blankly for a couple seconds as Light tried to concoct a response. Finally Light said "That's not what I was saying though. You can be addicted to something and love it. That's the idea of addiction." "Oh you meant addiction? Yeah, I'm totally addicted to apples" Light had an annoyed look on his face. " God dammit, why do I even try with you?" " Hey that's Shinigami to you" Ryuk responded. After a long while of arguing of Ryuk's condition they finally got back to their prior conversation. "Yeah, I'm surprised the CEO hasn't gotten on Kira's shit list yet. Then again he's probably Kira" Light said drinking a light beer. "Well I'm going to crash." Light walked into his room to find a wild Misa Misa laying on his bed covered in roses. "Nope" "Wait Light!" Misa yelled."Why didn't you tell me the psycho was in there?" Ryuk shrugged " Why do people bully?" Light still annoyed said "I don't know, reaction." "Correct"Ryuk responded blankly. "Well I'll be sleeping on the couch, don't talk to me. Lock her in there would you. Sigh. Oh by the way who bought you that gift basket?" "I did." Ryuk said rushed. Actually he did, Ryuk thought. Everybody in the apartment was asleep, well except for Ryuk, of course.
