 *alarm buzzes*

I open my eyes and my whole body cringes. I hurriedly turn off the alarm,  to stop the mental pain brewing. I then jump out of bed before I have a thought not to, like usual...

I have 30 minutes to be out the door, and so I quickly brisk to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I look at myself through the mirror, and analyze my face for any differences. And unlike the celebrities in the magazines, I look exactly the same as I did months before. "I guess this isn't my hot year." I mutter before spitting out my toothpaste.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Right when I get to school, I rush to the library to turn in a very overdue book. As I'm searching the book for any notes I may have left inside, I suddenly feel like I've hit a wall. Literally...

I look up to see (ddbfd) who hardly gives me a glance and walks away.

"well, sorry" I irritably say

Seriously, what is that guys problem? (rfgjrh) had just moved here in the 8th grade. He easily became popular for his obvious good looks, and well that is pretty much it. Well, maybe his money too, I know he lives in a huge mansion and whatever. I only know this since he lives next door to Chanson.

I hate to admit it, but Chanson has been a long lasted crush of mine. It's not because he has money or because his oh-so attractiveness, but I really think he's a genuinely nice guy. Only one person knows this and that's my best friend, Cassia.

"Hey, nerd." Someone says as I'm sitting on the ground finishing up some homework. I look up and it's Cassia.

"Says another nerd." I retort back. We aren't necessarily nerds, I mean our grades are pretty good, and I enjoy learning, but not nerd like. We're just sort of introverts. With our friendship, we don't need lots of friends.

"I know I've kind of agreed to myself I wouldn't date during high school, but sometimes I just really want a boy to come around."

"me too." I replied.

"You don't want just a boy, you want Chansonnnn." She said in a jokingly mocking voice.

"yeah, but I don't think that's gonna happen"

"G, don't think like that. You do get to talk to him in biology."

"I hardly talk to him. But the back of his head isn't a bad view."

The bell then rings, meaning break is over. Before we split, Cassia replies

"That's why you are gonna start a convo with him in biology!"

"Okay, sure"

As I head to biology I think,

no way am I gonna talk to him, what do I even say???

ughhhhh I'm so lame

No! I am not lame, all the bimbos around here talk to him, even more than that, I grimace. Anyway, if they can talk to him, so can I!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I look at the clock, okay, I've got 20 more minutes to say something.

My palms are even sweaty, oh gosh.

*5 minute later*

oh his pencil just dropped! Should I pick it up?

iHell yeah! Pick it up! This is your chance.

I pick up the pencil and with a suddenly shaky hand, I tap on Chanson's shoulder.

Oh god, he's turning around!

"Yeah?" he says.

"Oh umm umm here's your pencil!"

he smiles and says "Oh Thanks, Charlie"

Oh my, that smile.

"Oh umm your welcome"

Omg I'm so awkward!

With one last smile he turns around and then he turns back

"Hey, I'm having a party Friday, you think you can come?"

"Yes! I-I-I'd love too!"

"kay, cool."

...I don't even go to parties, I'll ask Caria about this one...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Omg! No Way! We are going."

"Are you sure...?"

"Yes. Come over Friday after school, you need work."

"Thanks." I deadpan.
