11- Woke Up Late

I woke up late in an unfamiliar bed. The walls were gray and bland. Next to me was the man I didn't want near me. Oh, how he ruined me.

Yes, maybe Brendon was good looking and well, hot but the thing is he's a narcissistic asshole. That's just a fact.

I groaned and got up. His house was quite big. Me being myself, I tripped over something. It was a black and white spotted dog that was sleeping. My feet woke the poor thing up.

"Oh baby, I'm so sorry." I whispered to the cute puppy and picked her up. I could tell it was a girl and the dog was in his car from the time we were at PetSmart.

"Penny Lane." A raspy voice said. I jumped and held the dog closer. He chuckled. "Come here." He gestured for me to lay down. Something must of possessed me but I listened.

I still had Penny in my arms and gently laid her on the bed. I smiled at Brendon and the cute dog next to each other. Not really noticing but my arms were being pulled and I was now on the bed. I was engraved with a warm and safe pair of arms.

I finally snapped out of it. "No." Then I was gone. I ran out of the room and left. Without saying a word I hopped on the bus and off I was. Maybe I should start fresh?

I haven't realized that I was wearing Brendon's Queen shirt. I looked a mess. Then it crossed my mind.

Did we...no we couldn't have...or did we? My mind was racing with the same thought. I hoped we didn't do anything stupid.

The bus came to a halt. I got off and walked to my house. I unlocked my door and walked in. Bogart came running to me and jumped into my arms. I laughed at my silly little dog.

"I love you bud." I kissed the top of his head and let him run off into the backyard. I yawned and headed to my room. As soon as I put my body on my bed I knocked out.

( 4 hours later )

"Penny! Shh!" I was still asleep but I could here a voice in my house. I was too lazy to open my eyes. "Goddamn it! Penny, no! Don't shit over there! No that's not your squishy toy! Pe- oh fuck." The voice yelled and my door was slammed open. I still didn't get up though.

It was silent and both dogs were barking at each other. I heard footsteps walking towards me. "Bebe, hey wake up!" Brendon shook my shoulder and I groaned. "How-." I was interrupted by a gun shot.
Brendon collapsed to the floor. A tear fell from his eye and mouthed. 'I'm okay' and smiled. He stared at the ceiling and closed his eyes. His hand on his stomach wound.

"You thought you could escape me baby girl?" Tony gritted his teeth.

Tony ran towards me and pinned me to my bed.
"GET OFF OF ME!" I cried out.

Before he could do anything else, two police men grabbed him and took him away in handcuffs.

How did he escape prison? Why? Then my attention turned to Brendon's bloody body on the floor. I got on my knees and sobbed. "Don't leave me please..." I sobbed in his chest, my hands were covered in his blood. He was barely breathing.

We rushed to the hospital. He was going to make it...he just had too. I kept telling myself that he was going to make it.

"Ms. Crawford, I'm sorry." Dr.Smith said. His head tilted down and I started to sob and cry.

But, he couldn't be gone. Little did I know, this day would change my life forever.
