Chapter one - "But I can't help the way I feel about you"

(Y/N) POV

He was going to do it. I don't know how I feel about it. my feelings are just all over the place at the moment. I looked into his big beautiful blueish green eyes. I could never decide what colour they were, if they were more blue or more green. agh, what am I saying I don't even know if I like this guy. (he was still looking into my eyes). he had me up against the wall of his and pony's bedroom. he looked at my eyes and bit his lip (i don't know I found it so hot when he did that) then looked at my lips. he had one hand on my waist and the other on my cheek. he looked at me and said "look (Y/N) I understand if you don't like me the way I lik- love you" 

WHAT!!! did sodapop Curtis just say he loved me? oh my god. I mean when he first said it i thought it was a joke but maybe he wasn't kidding. 

"but I can't help the way I feel about you. you drive me insane with how your smile lights up the room, and you laugh can make anyone laugh and feel happy. and you're just so goddam beautiful" he continued. 

I could feel him pull me closer to him. he closed his eyes and gently placed his soft lips on mine. I didn't know what to do at first, so I just kissed him back. what the hell was I doing I don't even know if I like this guy, I mean how could I when... when there's Dallas Winston. but soda just had a way with words I couldn't help but kiss him back. 

Then he pulled away and said "(Y/N), I'm sorry I just had to"

I slid away from where he had me pinned against a wall and started to remember what he said and did to me earlier. 

I began to feel the anger inside of me rush all throughout my body. 

"SODA YOU CANT JUST SAY THOSE THINGS YOU SAID EARLIER AND HIT ME ACROSS THE FACE THEN KISS ME LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED!!!"

he looks so disappointed and sad. he looked like I had just ripped his heart out of his chest threw it on the ground and stopped all over it. 

"(Y/N), I can't even begin to express how sorry I am, I don't know what came over me it was just seeing you with hi..."

"just spar your breath soda. I don't wanna hear it"

I walked out of his room and slammed the door behind me. I could feel hot tears well up in my eyes, but I knew the gang would be downstairs so I tried to keep them in but failed miserably. as I walked out I could hear Steve call out"Hey Sis, hey what's wrong?" 

but I ignored him and ran out the front door and could hear dally run behind me. even though at this point in time I like dally better than soda you didn't want to talk to him cause I know I would have to explain what happened, and if I did that dal would go and beat up soda for it.

but I know that I'm a fast runner ( so fast one time I beat pony in a running race). so I ran as fast as my legs could go. and then just I thought I lost him and I was too far ahead, I tripped over a rock. it did leave me small scratch but I'm tuff and have quite a high pain tolerance so I didn't feel anything. but I went to keep running I looked down and saw a HUGE cut on my knee. "goddammit" I whispered to myself. I could hear dally run up behind me and just gave up he would have caught me if I kept running so I stayed put. "all right hot stuff, tell me what's going on now before I lose it" 

goddam he was hot when he was mad
