"Hello, sunshine! It's time to wake up." Said a familiar voice close to Anne's ears.
It was the voice she was dying to hear. A voice she wasn't expecting to hear up so close until Wednesday which was still two days far. It was the most soothing voice she had ever heard. A voice which had the ability to make her heart smile, a voice which could make her forget everything else in the world, a voice which could bring her out of her worst nightmares, a voice which made her feel loved and safe as nothing in the universe could. It was the voice of her love.
"Maybe I'm dreaming." She thought, keeping her eyes tightly shut afraid of the disappointment which would drown her if she didn't find that beautiful angel face looking down at her when she opened her eyes.
Pulling the duvet closer to her chest and turning on to her side she tried to fall asleep again.
"Sleepy head, look at the time! You need to wake up. I'm dying to get my morning kiss." Said the voice again, gently shaking her out of her stupor.
This made Anne open her eyes by a fraction.
She could see the familiar silhouette of a man in her room sitting in the plush armchair positioned right in front of her face and leaning towards her with his elbows placed on the corner of the mattress.
She opened her eyes further not believing what she was seeing. Forgetting all her laziness and feeling wide awake and excited she got down from the bed with a tremendous speed and went straight into the man's open arms.
"OH MY GOD! WILL! I can't believe you're home two days early. Wowww! Am I dreaming?" Anne exclaimed sitting on Will's lap and hugging him tightly.
"Well, you know I can't live without you for long so what other option did I have?" Will said smiling shyly and taking in the beautiful smell and presence of the girl he was so much in love with.
"Let me have a good look at my husband." Anne said and bent forward to reach the side table. She picked up a remote and pressed a few buttons on it.
The curtains all around them started gliding backwards flooding the room with the golden glow of the afternoon sun.
She laughed and covered her eyes with her fingers as her eyes struggled to adjust to the bright light. Then slowly and steadily as if she wanted to live each and every millisecond of that moment she uncovered her eyes and took a deep breath and set her eyes on the beautiful view which to her was of her husband.
She loved absolutely everything about him.
Be it his dirty blonde hair, his high cheekbones, his stormy blue eyes, his chiseled jaw or his perfectly built six feet tall body.
Her love for Will was way beyond what you could put in words.
She would often describe it by saying "I am a body with no soul. Will is my soul. Without him I'll have a body but no soul. I'll be something like a victim of a dementor's kiss." And then she would laugh leaving others in doubt as to how they were supposed to react.
