Coffee Shop

MARSHALL'S POV
I was walking to the coffee shop around, 6 am. I put in my ear buds In since the collage campus was already crowded. I get my coffee. As I was walking out the door, a young man catches my eye. He looks over at me. SHIT. I turn around and start walking away. I sit down on the sidewalk and pull out my phone. I feel a rush of cool when I see a shadow appear over me. I look up. And it's that guy I was staring at. "uh, can I help you..?" I said. "oh nothing... I noticed you staring at me from the Coffee shop..?" he said. "uh... Yeah..?" I said. "well uh, what's your name?" he asked. "Marshall Lee. How about you?" I ask. "uh... It's embarrassing..." he said. "aw come on!" I pleaded. "it's uh.... Gumball....." he blushed. "hey, I uh... I like that name." I said. He sat down next to me. "so.... Gumball..." I said. "hm?" he replied. I shook my head. "ok. Marshall, what's your major?" he asked. "Art..." I told him. "oh yeah same. Maybe we'll have classes together. When do you start your classes?" he asked me. I felt the blush rise to my face. "uhm... Friday." I said. He nods. He takes out a scrap piece of paper from his pocket. It has scribbles and doodles on it. He writes something on it then hands it to me. "it's my number so we can talk." I nod and smile, trying to hold back my blush. But it comes through. I get up and we shake hands. I go to my car with all of the essentials for college in it. I drive to my house for one and a half years. "was it 1770... No, 1776..." I talk to myself. I pull up to the building. I get out of my car and wave to the lady at the desk through the window. I walk in. "hi. I need my dorm key. 1776 I believe." she turns around. Scans the wall. "uhm.... Yep! Here you go!" she exclaims. I bid to her while taking the key. I go over to the stairs and go up. I get to my room and twist the door handle and it's unlocked. I open the door to see boxes. A head pokes out of one of the doors. "oh hello!" Gumball says.
