Chapter 1 - Practice

[Alberto's Point Of View]

I wake up and check the time. It is 11:30 AM. Great, I overslept. The others probably already finished practice, so I take my time to get ready. I stand up and head to the kitchen. This morning I decide to eat the American style. I grab a pan, crack open two eggs, and throw some bacon in. While that is cooking, I grab an orange and squeeze it into a nice tall glass. I sit down and eat with joy that delicious food. Once I am done, I walk back to my room to get changed and make the bed. It felt great sleeping more than usual.

Once I finished getting dressed up, I head to the studio expecting to find nobody. I open the door with a big smile on, ready to greet Maya, the one responsible for recording and checking our sounds. However, I was not greeted by Maya, but rather by Tish, which turned towards me with an exhausted face.

"Good morning" I say
"Hello, we were questioning about where you were." -Tish
"Sorry, I overslept.." I reply full of guilt
"It's ok. We were waiting for you for our duo performance." -Tish
Shoot, I completely forgot about it.
"Do you want to take a pause, you look very tired." I tell her
"No, I am ready. I just didn't get much sleep. Anyway, let's do this!" -Tish

We started practicing the song. We were practicing "There Must Be an Angel". It is a difficult song to perform because since I am an Opera singer, we have to incorporate that to it. At the same time, it involved a lot of feelings that needed to be expressed through it. And well Tish is awful at doing it. Every time she tried to sing it, she would look away.

" I call it" I said
"Me too." -Tish
"Should I practice my performance, Maya?" I ask
"Yes, Tish you can go." -Maya
"But I wanna hear Alberto." -Tish

And so she stayed. I could see her eyes shining of joy the whole time. She looked like a kid when they see a toy. I wish I could have taken my phone out and take a picture of her, but she would have noticed. I practice a bit of my song called Indispensabile, and some more lyrical songs.

Since I came in late, I had to pay for it. In fact I finished quite late. I was free from practice at 7:00 PM, perfect time for dinner. I just felt sorry for Tish because she had been in the studio since early morning. We walk down the corridor quietly. Then she stops.

"Tish, you alright?" I ask concerned
"Your voice was amazing. I am still under shock."
We laugh
"Well thank you. I am delighted. Now let's go eat with the others." I say
"Food bitches!!!!" -Tish

[Valentina's Point Of View]

I was sitting at the table talking to Vincenzo while I was waiting for Tish to come. I haven't seen her all day long. Where could she possibly be? The moment I turn around I see her.

"There you are!" I scream
"Yes my bitchhh, I am back!" -Tish
I give a quick glance at Alberto which is facepalming his face in shame.
"What have you done to this little lady?!" I ask him jokingly
"Me?! Nothing! You should ask her." -Alberto
"Guys, guys. Let's throw a partaaaayyyyyyyy!" -Tish
"Tish, you need to calm down." I said trying not to laugh
"Vale, have fun! Let's go to where you guys practice dancing! Last one there gets to twerk!" -Tish
And in a second, poof, she was gone.

Alberto and I stare at each other for a second and we sight.
"Let's go and convince her to sleep." I say
"Hard to do, but let's go before this whole house explodes." -Alberto

We reach the dance studio. When I open the door I see Tish singing, it sounded more like screaming, and dancing. I don't mind seeing her crazy side sometimes, but this time is way too much.

"Tish! You are going to ruin your voice like that, and tomorrow you won't be able to sing." I said
"Omg, that will never happen." -Tish
"It will if you don't stop and go to sleep." I replied
"Vale is right, c'mon go to sleep." -Alberto
"Fine!" She pouted.

After fighting against our wills, she went to sleep, and incredibly fell asleep. Wow, that felt like taking care of a child.
"Albe, you would be a good dad." I laugh
"Says the one that should be MOMMY." -Alberto replied
"Ah! Never, in your dreams." -Valentina
"I'm gonna go sleep too. She made my head go boom!" I say
"You love her so much." He replied
"I do love her, especially her craziness. I think you like that too." I answer
"Nah." -Alberto
"Lies, goodnight Snapchat filter!" -Valentina
"Hey that is really rude, bush!!!" -Alberto
