CHAPTERS 1-4

Hi guys! I'm here just to let you know that I have 4 chapters in one part because some of them are very short and I don't want a part with a very short chapter! This is also my very first book! So plz don't blame me if I wrote something that doesn't make sense! There are some things that I know that doesn't make sense, but you'll just have to keep on reading to find out! And this story is inspired by the Catwings series but all the characters here is made by my friends and me!

PROLOGUE

Once in the land of Catwing Island were three abandoned eggs out in the plains. One was a black and white and blue egg from the Shadowings, and another egg from the Toxwings, which was magenta and black. The last one was a Crystalwing egg the color of purple and black. Due to hatch soon, the three eggs awaits unseen.

But one day, a female cat named Hera found the eggs. Hera was a ordinary cat, so she didn't know these eggs contained three kittens fromm the legendary tribes.

CHAPTER 1: Under the Cave

4 YEARS LATER

''Good morning, kits!'' Hera said with a yawn as she stretched. ''Good morning,'' Ember, Ivy and Snow said at the same time. They looked at each other and giggled. ''Well, why don't you kittens go and play in here while I go out hunting?'' Hera asked.''We're running out of prey. I just need to collect some for this month.'' ''All right,'' Ember said.''come on guys.'' Ivy and Snow followed her towards the scroll pile. ''More reading?'' said Hera as she glanced at them. ''Yeah,'' Ivy replied as Hera went out the room. Once she was gone, Snow quickly locked the door behind her. ''All right,let's get back to the scroll about the legendary tribes,'' Snow said. ''We were at the Steelwings.'' Once they were done reading the Alphawing category, they started to read the Toxwings. Halfway through, Ivy suddenly called out. ''Hey! That Toxwing looks just like me!'' She shouted in shock. She showed her spikes on her neck, paws and tail. ''And it says that Toxwings can be all sorts of colours, but mostly the toxic kind, and I'm rose-coloured!'' The room fell silent. ''That's true...'' Ember said, breaking the silence.''You do look like a Toxwing, and what kind of cat would have rose-coloured spikes? Toxwings! So--'' ''Oh, look! that Shadowing looks like you, Ember! And the Crystalwings lool just like me!'' Snow interrupted. The room fell silent once more. ''So,'' said Ivy finally. ''You guys know what i'm talking about, but can it really be?''

CHAPTER 2: The Truth

After their dinner, Ember, Ivy and Snow hurried to their room to read more about the tribes. ''What's the big rush about?'' Hera asked as the kits zoomed past her.''It's nothing,'' Snow panted. When they reached their room, Ivy slammed the door shut, then locked it. ''All right, guys. There is just one problem I don't understand,'' Ember began. ''I know what you're thinking about--it's the wings.'' Ivy continued. ''We don't have wings. All the cats in the legendary tribes has them.'' ''I know. That bothers me, too.'' Snow muttered. ''So let's make a plan,'' Ember suggested.'' and what is our plan?'' Ivy asked. ''You know it was Hera who gave birth to us?'' Ember said. ''So i think the best way will be to ask her. Who agrees?'' Ivy's paw shot into the air, followed by Snow. Ember beamed. ''So, I'm going to do it tomorrow, while we're done eating breakfast, all right?'' ''Sure,'' Ivy agreed. ''So now we're finally going to know if we came from the legendary tribes!'' ''But for now,'' Snow suggested. ''We will have to sleep. Good night!''

So in the morning the next day, Ember, Ivy and Snow ate eagerly. ''Wow, I never see you kits eat so hungrily,'' Hera said, a puzzled expression on her face. ''Gotta eat quickly,'' Ember mumbled, her mouth full of food. After the kits finished their bowl, they just sat there for a while, relaxing. ''So,'' Ivy whispered to Snow. ''Is Ember going to ask Mother now?'' Snow gave her a nod, then quickly whispered something to Ember. ''So,'' Ember began. ''Can we ask you a question, Mother?'' Hera looked up from her meal. ''Of course, sweetheart,'' She said. Ember took a deep breath. ''Um--we just wanted to know if we...can borrow your scroll?'' Ivy and Snow just stared at her. ''Of course, sweetheart. Just remember to return it to me once you're done.'' Hera said as she stood up. ''I'll get it. Wait for me here.'' Then without another word, she walked to her bedroom. After Hera had gone out of sight, Ivy and Snow argued. ''Why didn't you ask her the real question?'' Ivy whispered impatiently. ''Yeah, why didn't you?'' Snow whispered loudly. ''We were so close to finding out the truth!'' ''I'll explain later, once we're in our room,'' Ember whispered back, trying to calm them down.
