Alex
I said I won't go but here I am about to walk in the front door. I needed my ipod which I left in the room upstairs.
As I walked in the hall, I heard Caissa talking to someone on the phone.
"Yeah, see you later babe, love you."
Babe? Love you? I thought she didn't have any boyfriend. Then I remembered the guy who drove her home that time. Oh great.
Caissa
I heard someone entering the living room just as I put down the phone. When I turned back, it was only Alex.
"Jeez! Its just you!" I said and laughed.
"Yeah, expecting anyone else?" he said and slumped in the sofa.
"Ah, no," I told him and went back to my seat.
"Just so you know, I own partly this house so you can't go asking anyone to come here," he said and I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked. Was he listening to my conversation earlier?
He didn't answer my question but just added," We're forced under this roof so you can't just bring anyone home especially a guy," he said casually as he flip through the channels.
I stood up, "What the heck do you supposed to mean by that?" Heat rising to my head.
He just looked at me then to the tv and then said, "Nothing."
Now I'm really irritated with him. "Excuse me but I am not like some people out there who can't keep their hands off someone else even if they are in a public place," I said and stormed out.
I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water and to cool down. The nerve of that guy! Earlier we're just fine and now he's acting like a total jerk once again! He's so bipolar I could strangle him!
When I stepped out of the kitchen, he's nowhere in sight. Good.
I placed myself cozily in the sofa and watched tv, good thing NCIS is on Fox.
"NCIS?"
I froze. I thought he already left. "Yes, why? Do you have any problem with that?"
"No," he said and pushed my feet down since I'm lying across the sofa.
"Hey!" I complained. "What the heck?"
"Move your legs or I'll sit on you," he said.
"Go sit in the chair. This sofa is occupied," I said and stiffen my legs so he can't move it.
We had a staring contest but then he looked away. Ha! I won! Or so I thought.
"Hey! Ow! Get off me! You're going to break my bones you idiot!" I shouted.
"I gave you a choice didn't I?" he said and winked at me. "That's what you get for messing with me. Now, scoot over."
I had no choice but to move and sat down at the edge of the sofa while massaging my legs. Ugh, that guy weighs like a ton.
"Does it hurt?" he suddenly asked.
Slightly shocked but regained my composure, I am supposed to still be angry. "Duh, what do you expect?"
He didn't answer but scooted near me and held my feet that made me jump once again.
"Hey!" I snapped and looked at him with wide eyes. "I'll sue you with sexual harassment," I warned him.
"Chill woman, I have better taste," he said and started to massage my legs.
I have to say, my legs are not really hurt but his hands made me relax so I stopped struggling and just focused watching tv, Gibbs is giving Tony a head slap for fooling around once again.
We just stayed silent like that while watching, its an NCIS marathon in Fox and I didn't even realized how hard the rain is pouring outside.
A loud thunder brought me back to earth. When there's thunder, there's always lightning. Not lightning.
I panicked and grabbed the nearest pillow which grabbed the attention of my housemate.
He raised an eyebrow at me as a question but I merely shook my head. No way in hell will I admit I'm scared or Alex'll tease me to death.
I concentrated on the tv only to jump once again when lightning struck. This time however, I jumped closer to Alex.
"Aww, is the little girl afraid of the lightning?" he teased. See?
I punched his arm and moved away. I mentally closed my ears so I won't hear any sound, but then again my eyes can see the flash of light from the clouds.
I can't take it any longer so I went upstairs and stayed in my bed covering my ears with the pillow.
Alex
Caissa went upstairs after what I said. It's not my freaking fault she can't take a joke. I just continued flipping the channel without no exact channel to watch.
The rain poured on and its getting dark with matching lightning and thunder, I should go back to my pad now but Caissa hadn't gone down since she stormed out 45 minutes ago.
I went upstairs to check on her. The lights were off in the room but I can still see her clearly hiding herself in the blankets.
What the heck. I turned on the lighta and approached her.
"Caissa?" I called out to tell her that I'm here. She didn't respond so I went closer and sat beside her. "Caissa, are you alright?"
She flinched at my touch and even screamed so I hugged her to calm her down. She's shaking and she's cold from fear. I kept her close to me and held her.
"Shhh. Its alright I'm here, don't worry," I told her.
"I-I hate thunder and lightning," she stuttered.
"Its okay, its alright. I'm here, I will protect you," I told her. She's so scared that I can't believe I'm saying what I'm saying. I just want to calm her down.
"Th-Thank y-you," she said as she leaned on my chest.
I smiled, "Relax, nothing's gonna hurt you," I said as I kissed her forehead.
I don't know what happened to me but when I saw her so scared, I wanted to protect her and tell her its all fine.
Eventually she calmed down and we fell asleep like that.
