Chapter 6

The sun was again shining in the sky , like its usual routine. Sunlight was entering through the gaps . The walls of your room were painted with the sun rays , making them even more beautiful .One could hear the chirpings of the bird, who were delighted by the fact that it was the time to wake up now but you were in deep slumber to be aware of this fact . You were lost in the comfort it was giving you . You unconsciously pulled the duvet towards you and snuggled closer to your 'other half' . He chuckled seeing you gathering the duvet towards yourself and shifting towards him . He had teased you about this habit of yours once or twice but he had never complained about it. He just couldn't deny the fact that you looked so adorable wrapped up in a duvet. It was a treat to behold . Any guy's heart would melt after seeing such a cute scene.

He propped his head on his hand , supported by his elbow . He had been awake before you , for about half an hour and had been admiring you . It was creepy though , but it had become his habit. Even when both of you had been dating , he would do the same. Just watching you breath beside him would give him joy. His gaze shifted on the ring on your ring finger. His lips stretched into a toothy smile. It was just yesterday you two had exchanged the vows and the rings ; a new chapter of your life has begun. Without any doubt , it was the best day of his life. He had been waiting for this day , the day when he'll marry the girl he had given his heart to. He remembered how beautiful you looked in that white gown , which was now lying on the ground. Undoubtedly , you were his euphoria , his wife , his life , you were his.

The thought that you were naked beside him was tempting but he had some self-control . He leaned down and kissed your nose. The fluttery sensation made you stir and you rolled towards your left your back facing Baekhyun. He pouted because of the loss of sunshine and moved closer to you . He leaned down and kissed the back of your ear . Then he kissed the spot beneath your ear . His lips moved towards your neck , dotting it with kisses. He kissed the hickey that he had given you last night and then intertwined his hand with yours. Your eyes opened slowly , a smile adorning your face. You wanted to enjoy this and didn't want you husband to stop so didn't move. He kissed your shoulder and then stopped. You immediately turned around and you didn't know whether it was his beauty or the sunlight which was blinding.

His hair was still disheveled because of last night's events but his eyes had the same adoration as always. His eyes were full of love and sincerity. He leaned down and kissed your forehead .

" Good Morning Mrs. Byun."

" Good Morning , my love ."

The life ahead was gonna be beautiful and you knew that. With Baekhyun by your side , you knew you could do wonders. He held your hand when you were going to fall and if he wasn't able to maintain the grip , he would be there to catch you when you fall. He was the man , he was the light , the one who warmed you in winter.
