"You know the it's only 35.89 right?" She said licking her lips.
"You need it more than I do." I said grabbing Messiah's hand.
We walked out the restaurant and I strapped him in. I got in the car and pulled smoothly out the parking lot. I checked my phone to see if I had any missed messages. My mind wondered off to Kierra. I haven't talked to her in two days. I'm not stressing it's just weird or whatever. We usually talk everyday.
I pulled into Juice driveway. I looked in the backseat and seen Messiah sleep. I got out the car and lightly shook him. He woke up and I got him out the car. He started to run around and play in the grass. I let myself in because the front door was unlocked. I walked in the kitchen and seen Juice on his phone.
"That phone is what gonna get you killed. Not drug trafficking." I said laughing.
He jumped a little and laughed. "Nigga fuck you."
"Wassup?" I asked checking my missed messages again.
"Nothing bruh. I think Mya mad at me." He said drinking his water.
I rose my eyebrow. "What did you do? You can't be out here fucking these hoes man." I said laughing.
"I didn't fuck a bitch. I ignored her calls." He sort of mumbled.
"How many times did she call?" I asked drinking my water.
"Twice." He said coughing.
"TWICE?!" I asked laughing. "She'll be fine."
I heard the front door open. It was Messiah.
"Wassup." Juice said picking him up and putting him on the counter.
"I gotta drop him off at my grandma house." I said stretching.
"That nigga Gerald want us to come to his club hosting." He said showing me the text.
"Since when is Gerald a Dj?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"Since yesterday. I couldn't tell you." He said shrugging.
"I guess I'll come." I said yawning. "I'm bouta drop him off and get dressed."
"Alright. Don't take all day bitch." He said walking us to the door.
"Fuck off." I said laughing getting in the car.
I pulled out of the driveway and headed towards my grandparents house. I thought about Kierra again. I wanted to text her but pride got in the way. I'm not about to keep chasing her, I clearly stated that I wanted to be more than friends and that's not what she wants obviously.
