School. School is hell. I'd rather go die in a hole than to spend another day in a building *learning* shit I won't ever use in adulthood. It's pointless and I'm glad I have finally got through the day so I don't have to have the teachers glaring at me because I didn't get pointless work done. I hate just sitting there and watching the teachers glare, it's like they're just screaming at me "good job, Ryan. You've done NOTHING with your life." Can't wait until it's done. If I had the ability to stop school and make kids learn the hard way, Survival, I would do it in a heart beat. Some kind of magic, though I've never been fond of magic for it is for nerds and I am not a nerd. Since these are my thoughts I guess it is safe to say I'm into magic and furries. Stuff like that gets me pumped and has me screaming *"I'm fired up now!"* in my thoughts. I don't show it because I would be embarrassed because all my friends make fun and diss that kind of stuff. In this world, yourself isn't acceptable and you must blend in in order to not be casted away from society. This world isn't right and I wish I had the power to fix it. But what can a 17 year old guy preparing to face a whole lot of responsibility do?
*As Ryan is thinking, little does he know strange things are about to happen... magical strange things... not your typical suspicious magic trick, but like dragons and flame flaring from mouths and REAL magic. How will he deal with this? Will he reject his desire for his friends? Or will he choose adventure and make new friends and discover more about himself? We shall see soon. Back to the story*
What was that?? A black figure jumping between two buildings?
I'm in a suburban area, a large tree oak tree to my right, about 3 feet in thickness and tall, I can't even describe how tall besides I'm 6 foot 1 and if 10 of me stood on top of each other, I wouldn't reach the top still. This is an abnormal tree for this area and to be honest, I've traveled here many times and this is the first time I've seen it here, it's even overgrown all around the base of the trunk. Does it have anything to do with that black figure? It jumped from one side on top of the general store to the other side on to the house marked with the number 2336. Wait, way up in the sky behind the house. What is that? It looks like a dragon from the stories my father read me. He used to read me all kinds of stories and tell me stories in his mind about mom and their adventures. My mom isn't with us... Dad tells me she's not dead, but she's not in this world. But I know he is just saying that to comfort me and let me know that she is in our hearts. And that's why I only have a few friends and I don't get along with very many people because I wish I could see her, it's complicated to explain the emotions.
But a dragon? A real live dragon? No, I must be dreaming. *blink* it's gone, I knew it, I need some sleep I'm hallucinating. ???, "Ryan!" Ryan "huh? Who is it?", ???, it's me, your best friend, Wyatt." Ryan "oh, hi Wyatt". Wyatt "Did you see it??"
Ryan "See what?" Wyatt "The dragon, what else? It flew high up in the sky behind that house there! It's creepy because strange things are happening all around the city and suburbs. Strange large trees with overgrown land around them are appearing, like that one to our right. That dragon in the sky, strange people with inhuman talents have started appearing. It's really strange don't ya think?" Ryan, "Dragons, large trees, and strange people?!" Wyatt "Were you listening at all? That's what I said, dragons, trees, and strange beings."
Somethings happening... and it's gonna change my life forever, I can feel it.
