Spongebob headed to his job at the Krusty Krab. He arrived earlier than Krab usually does, but Mr. Krabs was already there. "Hey Mr. K! What are you doing here so early?" asked Spongebob. "I'm packin' up me money, boyo," replied Mr. Krabs sadly. "Why?" questioned Spongebob. "I'm closin' up shop, me boyo." "B-but Mr. Krabs!" Spongebob couldn't believe what he was hearing. "What about the Krabby Patty formula?" asked Sponegbob, worried. "I'm givin' it to Plankton," replied Mr. Krabs, filled with sorrow. "But Mr. Krabs-" Mr. Krabs put his claw on Spongebob's shoulder. "Call me Eugene." They headed over to the Chum Bucket. They walked through the doors. "Hey Krabs, Spongeboob," said Plankton. "Here Sheldon." said Krabs as he took out the formula. "E-Eugene?" "You gotta support you and your wife somehow." Plankton struggled to find any words. "Thank you," he finally said. As Krabs and Spongebob walked out, they heard Plankton yell, "Karen! I've finally got it!"
When Krabs and Spongebob went back to the Krusty Krab, Krabs grabbed his things. He walked towards the door. When he saw Spongebob, he stopped. He put his empty claw on Spongebob's shoulder. "See ya later, boyo." He left the Krusty Krab for the last time.
