A time before now

Prolouge

Reed ran into the castle infirmary with his brother in his arms,"SOMEONE HELP!!" He ran up to a bed as a medic motioned to it,"Reed my dear friend ! What has happened!?" "I-I don't know Xavier...I was casting a spell and he walked in and was hit..." He placed his brother on the bed as Xavier went to the bed.

Xavier was a tall, lanky young man with peach skin, he also had gray eyes and bleached blonde hair. He looked at the boy laying on the bed and turned to Reed, "Go get your parents and sister! They need to know this happened." Reed nodded and ran out of the room. Xavier was pressing a wet cloth to Draco's forehead as he whispered," my poor friend ...what happened...?"

Reed ran into the castle throne room to see his baby sister and Draco's twin, Ivy, his mother, Cyna, and lastly his father, Uther. Ivy, Reed and their father were carbon copies of each other. All of them had moss green hair, pink eyes, and dark skin. Their mother, Cyna, was lighter in skin and had baby blue hair, along with purple eyes. Her and Draco has the exact same looks. "Reed, my love, where is your brother? He was supposed to be with you, and your crown?" His mother stood up and walked towards him, her long golden gown following her figure. She had on golden crown to match. "Reed, you're crying. What's wrong dear?" "Yeah Reed. You look like a hot mess, as Xavier calls it." She snickered as Uther gives her a disapproving look, but soon reaches a fist out to her, which she bumps. "The infirmary! I hit Draco with a spell!"

All of their eyes widen as Uther and Ivy stand up. Reed and Ivy start running to the infirmary as Uther follows, picking his wife up bridal style and running after his kids. When they all arrived at the infirmary, Ivy is the first to run to Draco's side, "Draco! Come on wake up!!" "Ivy my dear, it's no use. He's out cold. He needs his rest."

Xavier walked out of a back room and put a hand on her shoulder. She looked at him with teary eyes, and he remembered those eyes very distinctly. Xavier was Draco and Ivy's age, yet his father was the old doctor before he passed, and with his father gone he was deemed the next doctor. He was very smart and mature for his age. He had always played with the twins when the three of them were younger and to see his best friend in this state made his very distressed.

"What happened!? Reed, I demand an explanation!" Reed looked away from his mother and father, "It was an accident...I was casting a spell and he walked in, he was hit...I'm so sorry mother and father...." "Xavier! How long will his recovery be?" The young boy was snapped out of his trance,"Well, your highness...I don't know to be honest . It depends on the person and their strength, so hopefully not too long." Uther gazed at his younger son and sighed.

He held his wife close as she wept into his chest. "I'll have Marquises cancel the celebration tonight, we all shall stay with him for the night." They all nodded and Xavier went to get medicine for Draco. When he returned they were all surrounding the bed, Uther holding his wife, Cyna holding Draco's hand and Ivy next to the two of them. Reed sat in the corner, feeling extremely guilty for the pain he was causing his family. Xavier sighed and went to give Draco the medicine...and this is where out story begins.
