Chapter 9

Tylers pov

She was too busy with Mac to even text me. Im the one shes dating and shes too caught up on him. I was hanging out with Ashton back at Keldon and I's dorm when Keldon got back. 

"Aye did Ema make it home last night?"

"Id assume so she was walking back to the hotel with Mia and Mac"

"Of course" I scoffed.

"You really got something against Mac?" Keldon said crossing his arms.

"Hes out with my girl" 

"Maybe if you werent rude to her you couldve been out with her Tyler" Keldon snapped back.

"You know what fine" I said getting up grabbing my sweatshirt.

I got to her hotel and knocked on the door, Mia then opened it. She moved over letting me in and i walked in to find a sleeping Emma. I sat next to her and held her hand. She then turned over waking up.

"T what are you doing here?" She asked rubbing her eyes.

"Im sorry about how i acted earlier"

"I forgive you"

"Can we talk about Mac?"

"What about him?" 

"You never told me about him and so im kinda confused" 

"Oh, we went to high school together and dated for almost 3 years we broke up because we both had different paths we were going on, we dont have beef or anything it was mutual and him and i are just friends there is nothing between us"

"Okay" I replied

"You dont believe me do you" She said looking down. 

"I do, i do" I said pulling her into a hug. 

"Promise" She said looking at me.

"Promise" 

"Okay" 

"We have a team dinner out tonight, you wanna come with?" 

"Wait for real?" 

"Yeah" 

"Sure, is it like fancy causual i need details" 

"Its at a nice resteraunt" 

"Okay, you better get to practice" 

Emmas pov

He kissed me goodbye and left and i immediately called Mia and we both went downtown trying to find a dress for me. After about an hour of indecisiveness i decided on a form fitting red dress. 

"Hey" Tyler smiled as i opened the door. 

"Hi" I said kissing his cheek. 

"Ready?" He put his hand out.

"Ready" I smiled grabbing his hand. 

We got to the restaurant and it was an italian very fancy restaurant. The whole team and their families/dates were there. I sat next to Keldon and Tyler. It was a different side of him, a happier one. I liked it but it confused me. Why were there so many parts of him that i dont even know about? I got basic spaghetti with angel hair pasta and it was so good. 

"Ready to go?" Tyler asked placing his hand on my back.

"Yeah, sure" I smiled and we got up walking out. 

"That was nice" I said as he held my hand. 

"It was" 

"Mia and i leave on a early flight at 2 in the morning"

"Im gonna miss you" He looked at me. 

"Ill miss you too" 

"Mia and RJ are pretty serious huh" 

"Yeah, they are really happy together" 

"Thats good" He said as we rode the elevator up to my room.

"Yeah, it is" I unlocked the door. 

"I feel like we never get enough time together" He said as i sat down on my bed flinging off my shoes. 

"I guess thats what happens when you love someone"

"You love me?" He smirked sitting next to me.

"I mean what else am i supposed to do" I said and we both laughed. 

"I mean sitting on the couch all day sounds like a good thing to do" 

"You are something else T" I said.

"But you love it" 

"Only a little" I replied as he kissed me lightly.

"I wish you didnt have to go so soon" 

"But i do" 

"Well i better get back to my room too"

"Ill see you in 3 days"

"3 days" He replied hugging me for what seemed like forever. 

"Mia said shes coming now to head to the airport" I said looking at my phone. 

"I love you Em"

"I love you too Ty" 

I wanted these next 3 days to pass faster.
