and ema's nanna decided that ema's hair was too long, so she decided to bring her get a haircut. and the stylist cut it really short. really really short. it barely reached her shoulders; a very drastic difference to what was almost down her back. and after her haircut she decided to show luke; she requested that her nana take her to luke's humble abode. and when luke opened the door; three emotions swept over him and ema could see them quite clearly in his eyes: shock, confusion, and adoration. the first two for the obvious; the latter because it always has and always will be the way he looks at ema. and he thought her hair looked absolutely adorable. and he smiled and motioned for her to come in; arms first. he knew ema was insecure and ema knew that luke was the person to wipe those feelings away with soft words and open arms.
