"My throat feels tired," Seungmin mumbled, looking at his friend Jisung. "At least practice is over now. I can finally go home and lay in my bed."

"I want to go home to," Jisung smiled at his friend. "But Minho hyung wants to hang out later, I want to cancel."

"You can't cancel on your future boyfriend!" Seungmin playfully teases.

"Future boyfriend?"

"Come on! Jisung, I know you love him." Seungmin places a hand on Jisung's shoulder. "It's only a matter of time before he falls for you, if he hasn't already."

"Shut up," Jisung mumbled and pushed Seungmin's hand away. "Don't give me false hope."

"Stop being so negative."

"I can't help it." Jisung slightly chuckled. "I feel like it's better this way. If I think negatively and the opposite happens, I'll be extremely happy. If nothing happens then at least I expected it."

"Whatever," Seungmin rolled his eyes. He looked around the room and saw the other people grabbing their belongings and soon did the same. Seungmin was never really in a group of friends but trying out for the school's vocal jazz group had to be one of the best decisions he had ever made. The auditioned group consisted of juniors and seniors, all of which were well known in the school. He felt like he belonged in the group and made some really close friends. This was one of the few times where he was glad Jisung had forced him to do something. Otherwise, he wouldn't have such cool and talented friends who all had a passion for singing and music.

The school year had begun about two months ago and these two months were Seungmin's happiest times. He had also auditioned for their school's chamber choir and got in. That choir had two to three times as much people as their vocal jazz group but he still enjoyed it. On top of that, he was also part of their school's regular choir. Because Seungmin was very involved in the school's choral program, he had become really close with the music teachers, occasionally seeking comfort in them when he was feeling down.

The year before, Seungmin's sophomore year, he didn't really have much friends. He was acquainted with several of his peers but was not close to many of them. Now, Seungmin had quite a bit of close friends and a few best friends. He had become quite well known amongst the students because of his beautiful voice. Quite a bit of students from lower grades started to look up to him and he found it really cute.

"Seungmin," Jisung called out. "Are you done?"

"Yeah," Seungmin stuffed his binder into his bag before closing it shut.

"Okay great," Jisung grabbed Seungmin's arm. "Let's go. Minho hyung is waiting by my locker."

"I don't need to go with you," Seungmin mumbled.

"But you leave the school in that direction anyways," Jisung tugged on Seungmin's arm. "Come on."

Seungmin sighed and allowed Jisung to drag him across the school. The two were now close to Jisung's locker and he could see three people standing around the area.

"It's Minho hyung," Jisung quietly squeeled. "Oh! He's with Hyunjin and Felix."

Seungmin rolled his eyes before pulling his arm out of the squirrel boy's grip. "Oh boy."

"Be nice." Jisung was aware that Seungmin wasn't very fond of his friends. He didn't really know why as Seungmin had never given him a proper reason. "You can just say 'hi' and leave."

"Kay," Seungmin and Jisung reached the older's locker. Seungmin quickly uttered out greetings to the three boys and immediately left.
