Another missing person, Tony Kennedy was one of many. My gut was telling me it was more than a missing person, my gut was never wrong. This all started around seven months ago, a body was found. His head was harshly beaten and he had multiple stab wounds to his chest, there was blood absolutely everywhere, even on the ceiling. He was left out on the open, there was no leads and the case went cold. In the same week another man went missing, then there's been another man every month since but this missing persons was the second of this month. The men that went missing usually didn't have too much family, usually just their parents and a couple of friends. "Officer!", suddenly i snapped back to reality.

"Officer Guildford and you will talking to Tony's family and friends" He snapply said, we were all quite frustrated with this case.

"Yes, Sir. Thank you"

The officer and I got into the car, it was silent but nice silence. Officer Guildford was an older man but one of the best, he was quiet.

We knocked on the door "Oh, hello officers," An older looking women with a kind face greeted us. "Please come in" she smiled warmly. Officer Guildford went in first, we talked to them and told them their son was missing, that we were trying our hardest to bring him back. Yet again she knew nothing but she did give us the address of his best friend, Noah. We thanked her and left. We drove in silence to the address, knocking on his apartment door, he answered but looked rough. "Hello Noah. I'm Officer Guildford and this is Officer Williams," He gestured towards me. "we are here to ask you some questions about your friend, Tony Kennedy" Guildford's voice boomed down the hallway.

"What'd he do this time?" He spoke lazily, rubbing his head.

"Nothing that we know about, Were you with him last night?" I asked him

"Yeah, well he left with his chick"

"What about her?" I asked again

"Blonde hair, tall. Think her name was Layla or-" he stopped to think, shutting his eyes. "Kayla. I think"

We thanked him, again, nothing. With that, we headed back to the police station.

A couple of weeks have passed since we talked to Tony's friends & family. There was no new leads but Officer Guildford and I were going out to interview a girl named Kayla Ortiz, her father had just died of a suspicious circumstances.

We got to her apartment and knocked on the door, she opened it a little bit "Hello, what can i help you with?" She asked with a small smile, but her eyes cold

We told her about her father and she didn't show the slightest bit of emotion. She refused to open the door any further, I asked her if she'd ever met anyone named 'Tony Kennedy' and she said she hadn't. Guildford and I both found this pretty suspicious so we went down to the front desk and asked if they had security cameras anywhere luckily, they had one pointing right at her door.

I spent hours going through all the footage, I was ready to give up but then i saw something interesting. She led him into her apartment, I continued watching so I could see when he came out of her apartment. I watched for two hours, five, nine, fifth-teen, twenty-four but he never came out, Tony Kennedy never left that apartment.

I knew I had to look into this, it was far too suspicious to mean nothing. I didn't even tell Officer Guildford, I just went, I drove as fast as I could, feeling as i was breaking all the speeding laws. I got to her apartment complex and just ran as fast as I could, running up to the stairs and kicking the door open. I took in everything and realised there was nothing, I couldn't believe my eyes. Someone can't just disappear without a trace.
