(o n e) NEW GIRL

Third person POV

Toni had always tried to be normal but that was hard given the fact that she has a BIG secret that only she and her parents know. And technically her parents didn't even want to know it, which is was Toni is moving to Riverdale.

Toni would definitely call herself the confident type unless there is someone who overpowers her then she softens up and loses her confidence.

Today was her first day at Riverdale HS. Starting out in the middle of the second quarter. Great. Toni thought to herself. She got her schedule and struggled finding her classes so she went to the first person she ran into, literally. She ran into the Cheryl Blossom, aka Cheryl Bombshell (aka HBIC of Riverdale HS).

"Can I help you cha-cha?" Cheryl asked which a snap on her voice, because everyone knows running into the HBIC is not okay.

"Sorry I'm new here and I was struggling to find my first class. Do you mind helping me out?" Toni asked, oblivious to the stares and whispers.

"Okay because you're new here I'll let that one slide but next time watch where you're going!!" Cheryl stormed off followed by her two best friends Betty and Veronica.

Toni turned to the two guys standing there with their jaws on the ground, "Who was that and how can I get her number bc she's hot? Oh can you help me find my first class?"

"That was HBIC Cheryl Blossom and you probably won't get a chance to get her number and if you do it'll be a few months if not years before you do. She does open up to anyone other than her two friends. I'm Sweet Pea btw and this is Fangs. I know we have strange names they are just nicknames but no one but the teachers and our family's know our real names. And you are?"

"Toni... Toni Topaz. Nice to meet you can you help me find my class?" Toni asked handing her schedule over to Sweet Pea and Fangs.

"Hey, that's the class I'm headed to so I'll walk you there," said Fangs as he did some weird handshake with Sweet Pea. They have sex ed first period so it's going to be interesting.

"Alright class we have a new student to the school today. Toni stand up and introduce yourself to the class," the teacher said and Toni slowly stood up and waved then sat down so the teacher continued, "We are starting our parent project. The way the project works is you will be pair up with one of your classmates and you will have to raise one of these babies," she picks up a babydoll but it look like a real baby and then it started crying like a real baby. "Every time the baby cries you have to feed it or change its diaper or just calm it down. You will be staying in a neighborhood right outside of the school and you and your partner will be living together taking care of this baby. There are cameras and motion sensors in the houses so I will know if you aren't staying there. You will also have to carry the baby with you to all of your classes you will make a chart with your partner as to who has the baby for what class on what days. Does anyone have any questions?"

"There are more girls than there are boys in here, will some of us have same sex partners?" A random student asked.

"Yes and I'll be picking your partners for you." Everyone moaned to complain. As the teacher went down the list of names Toni finally heard her name, "Toni Topaz you will be pared with Cheryl Blossom."

Toni's journal entry
So today was interesting. I got paired with the HBIC for a parent project and I'll be living with her for a few months. I really want to get to know her and get on her good side. I looked into her eyes when we, well when I, ran into her in the hallway. There was pain in her eyes. Pain that I don't think anyone knows about not even her "besties". It seemed like she was hiding something. Who knows but I will become her friend by spring break. I swear it.

Cheryl's journal entry
So today was a great day, well kinda. I woke up and got ready for school and man did I look hot. I always look hot but today I was like hAwT. So anyway my day started off weird. A new girl bumped into me in the hallway and like normally I'd rip anyone who even touched me to shreds but when I turned around and looked into the pink haired girl's eyes I saw my future and she was in it. Man what am I saying I'm not into girls. Okay I am but no one needs to know that. Man this girl confuses me about my feelings and it hasn't even been a full day, but anyway I got paired with her for the stupid parent project. So we shall see how that goes. Peace out for now journal.
