kanon really couldn't believe this..he'd never expected himself to be a homophobe. even the prospect of it grossed him out. but when evan decided to bring home a boy again the 5th time this week he really couldn't ignore the burning sensation in his stomach. the guy evan brought home wasn't even creepy or overtly rude but kanon really couldn't bring himself to be nice to the git.

so here kanon is, lying awake at 4:27. hyperaware of the noises coming from his roommate's bedroom. kanon never imagined himself hating anyone for loving who they want.

at first he thought it was jealousy, jealousy that he could never get girls the way evan could get dudes. his last relationship ended relatively oddly. the girl, dash was an absolute sweetheart but kanon never truly felt anything. it frustrated him but he decided that he couldn't have been that pathetic and resorted to thinking that he was a homophobe. these heavy thought lulled the pale boy to sleep, with a certain evan on his mind.

kanon arose to the ever so soft rhythmic lash of rain against his bedroom window and the smell of fresh breakfast wafting toward him. he got up in an extremely groggy manner and sleepily trudged his way toward the kitchen only to be greeted by the fucker from last night.

"hey.. dude, can you not fuck the kitchen up we cook there...'' kanon said, bitterness lacing his voice.

"um..hey bro it's just that evan is asleep and I thought he would be hungry when he woke up so i decided to make him something." the guy replied whilst meekly turning a pancake.

"he's allergic to gluten." that was a lie, kanon just lied to this dude for no reason and he can't even bring himself to be angry at himself because he's satisfied when the dude's smile drops. "and it's almost time for class so I really think you should leave." kanon genuinely had no clue why he did any of that, and just lied to the poor guy. but he could feel his own satisfaction while looking at his lanky figure retreat.
