With that I switched to my speed mode and raced off into the dark. Seeking solitude that I was craving at the moment.
0000000000000000
Drift told me that they planned to infiltrate KSI's main building to find out what exactly they were doing with the bodies they were 'collecting' even if I could tell them I have the feeling that they should find out for themselves. Not only so they could see it to believe it, but for the sake of self preservation. Seeing that this Optimus is NOTHING like my files say he is. And I don't want to test how bad his emotional control has gotten lately.
By the time I had returned the fire was long gone and everyone was either in recharge or asleep. The humans seemed to have picked a bot to sleep in, Cade was curled up in Optimus, his daughter-Tessa?- was snuggling with her spazzy boyfriend inside 'Bee drifting off to sleep. Seems that the Autobots still have a soft spot or two for certain humans, I smiled at that.
My frame gave a shiver as a cold desert wind brushed against me. My armor was dusty from my run and my optics were a plae lavander showing I needed to recharge. After a long run and lots of thinking I was both mentally and physically exhausted and needed to recharge.
I cleaned myself the best I could of the sand and dust and moved towards Opi's alt mode only to stop when I saw Drift's nearby.
Feeling a strange tug on my spark/soul I quietly walked over to his alt mode and gently patted his hood. The car gave a silent hum and its frame vibrated a little showing I had woken him up. Though I found it a little strange that unlike when the others woke him up he immeadiately transformed and nearly chopped their servo off with those swords with his he didn't react like that. But I simply waved it off at thinking that as his partner he recognize my touch easier and didn't want to harm me in fear of facing Opi.
"Drift you awake?" I whispered to him. I already knew the answer but I wanted him to respond to me. When he didn't reply I vented in defeat and drew my hand away, he was awake but he didn't want to be bothered by me and just wanted to go back into recharge. I turned around was about to walk away when a warm low hood bumped against my legs and made me sit down on said hood.
"Sakura? What is it?" I felt his hood vibrate softly at his words that was barely above a whisper. It was so soothing I vented a bit relaxing against him, only to shake and cletch myself up in an effort to warm myself as another gust blew by. Frag the desert is cold.
"Can I sleep with you tonight, I don't know why but I rather spend the night with you." Dear high powers above I felt so embaressed asking my partner this. But it was all true, i just hope he wouldn't laugh.
Without even saying a word his hood vibrated again in a very soothing way and his passenger door quietly opened to me as a answer.
I smiled gratefully and rubbed my servo on his hood in a soothing way and carefully crawled in making my way carefully to his back seat. Laying down I felt his seats shift underneath me into a very comfortable shape and the gentle vibrates that seemed to message my frame into getting me to relax. I was halfway into recharge when I spoke again.
"It all started for me in Chicago, in that buliding." I said softly. I could tell that my partner was listening in as he continued to get me to relax. He and everyone knew I use to be human and that my memories were shotty at best. For me to reveal what I do remember was a very big sign of trust. "I was just like any college grad. Ready to face the world and all its luster and to change it for the better, only one day some crazy men in suits came offering me an internship for a rising bussiness and I thought this was my big chance...Then, when I got there..." I clenched up again as shattered memories entered my mind along with the lingering senses that came with them. My fame shook violently as I tried to force the images away.
I suddenly felt warmth all around me and the soothing vibrations got more intense along with faint purring and soft meditation music filtered into my audios. Out of a instinct I never knew I had I gave my own soft purr and snuggled closer to the back of his seat as the memories slipped away and I relaxed into his comfort. It was...nice to have someone other than Opi to calm and comfort me.
"It is alright Sakura, you do not have to go into that building ever again." His voice still held a bit of a purr as it sounded around me in his interior. "And we will find a way to make them pay for what they took from you." I flinched a bit at the faint growl I detected within his voice but soon relaxed as he purred again to sooth me.
"It wasn't that bad of an outcome." I mumbled sleepily into his seat I was so close to recharge that I barely paid attention to my words. "After all I got to meet you, and I wouldn't trade that for my past life if I ever got the option to."
Not long after that I fell into recharge not knowing that Drift heard every word I said and took it in without any negative emotion. Nor did I hear what he said before he followed me into recharge.
"Rest my Meito."
Wow, lots of different emotions there. Can you guess what the last word means without google translate? Anyway that's my lastest update to my most popular story, you all know what to do by know so I won't bother to repeat myself. Till then this is Robogirl421 signing off, see ya next time!
