"TIANA"! I pretend to be asleep. So that I can have peace on Saturdays. "Jordan, go wake your sister up. Tell her I'm calling her." My father approached. "Tiana" Jordan Screamed while shaking my leg. "What do you want"? I whispered. "Dads calling you" . He said. I walk with an attitude over to my parents room. I hate Saturdays. I hate having to hear my parents yell. It makes me want to yell back which makes me get into trouble. "Tiana". My dad says calmly. "Yes"? I say with an attitude. "You know your supposed to fix the kitchen on Saturdays. Why do I have to remind you of what your supposed to do in this house?" He asked rhetorically. "Well I was sleeping how was I supposed to know it was time for me to clean the house?" I said sternly. "You know what your supposed to do. Now get to work." He said. I walked to the kitchen with my iPad. Because I know to be able to get through the day, I'm going to need some music. I fix the kitchen the best way I know how, the best way I was taught. But of course, he's never satisfied the first time. It's annoying how I do something and he complains as if he could do better. Like come on, if you could do better, you wouldn't have asked me to do it. Or just because you were too lazy! I just wish I had some after school activities to do so that I wouldn't be at home on the weekends. Nobody puts an effort into keeping our house clean. Nobody washes there plates when there done eating, no one flushes the toilet, no one cleans there room on the daily and they wonder why our house is so dirty. Smh. What annoys me the most is that my siblings don't even do half as much work as I do in the house. My sister Shanice does absolutely nothing. But Jordan and I share the same interest in leaving our house. I'm Tiana Sinai Smith and I want to grow up, go to college, go to party's, and hang out on the weekends.
