"Where are we going?" I groaned,
Darren and I have been walking for like one freaking hour already!
But he isn't budging nor answering my question.
I am walking behind him because.. well, he is walking so fast.
"I'm tired!" I groaned once more.
Once again, no response.
"The parking is that way!" I groaned, pointing at the opposite direction.
"I know,"
That's the first reply I got from him once we started walking.
"Well then, why are we walking here for?" I said, putting my hands on my hips.
He turned to me, glaring, then he turned around and started walking again.
What is with this guy?!
He continued to walk, and I was trailing behind, catching my breath when he stopped so suddenly, making me bump into his back.
"Oof."
"We're here!" He said, raising his two hands.
I felt a cold breeze brush against my skin.
"Wow." is all I can say.
"Yeah, I know." He said smiling.
Whoa, he just smiled.
Before me is a meadow, I think?
It's filled with flowers, and the moon is really big from up here.
It's as if it's just right infront of us.
Darren laid on the grass and I did the same.
The night sky is filled with stars, many stars!
In this generation, you can't see that much stars anymore because it's covered with fog, smoke and well.. smoke.
I touched the flowers, they are so beautiful, it feels as if spring has already come.
The grass tickled my skin, as I looked up to the sky.
"Darren, this place is a beaut!" I said, smiling.
"Yeah.. when I've got some thinking to do, I come here." He replied, a small smile forming across his face.
I turned to face him, who is lying beside me and asked,
"Are you thinking of something right now?"
He smiled, his gaze never left the pretty night sky.
"Yeah, I am."
I grew curious and so I asked again,
"What are you thinking about?"
He smiled faintly, looking at me.
Both of us locked gazes, our faces are near that I thought I was going to break down any moment now.
"What is love?"
I bit my lip, blushing furiously, why is he asking me that?
"Hmmmm, I think it means... it's that heart racing feeling you get.. the small gestures making you blush.. I think that's love." I answered, gulping down the lump on my throat.
I felt nervous.
I really did..
But I don't even know why.
"Really?" He said in a sarcastic tone, then facing the sky again.
"Well, that's love for me." I replied, shrugging my shoulders.
