Down in a small town, there is a girl. Her name is Lilly. But she's not normal. She is 1 in a billion who have been born with some "abnormal defect". Making her an outcast, shunned, and tormented.
. . . . . . .
"I'm going now mom!" The girl shouted from the doorway, she was leaving for school. But it's not like she was really wanting to go.. There, she was always bullied. And she never seemed to fit in. And as she walked down the street, her blue orbs scanned the sidewalk she was so familiar with. But something was different... there was a.. girl? She was walking down the street in a white dirty t-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. What is she doing out here with out a jacket? Is freezing. Lilly thought. "Uhm.. Hey, are you okay? You seem lost, and cold.." Lilly started, suddenly, the girl bursted into tears. Lilly stood there, worried for the girl she just met. She never knew how to comfort someone, she always the one being comforted. So in a feeble attempt to help the girl, she awkwardly enveloped her in a hug. " hey, it's okay.. Just tell me what happened and maybe we can go from there"
. . . . . . . .
At Lilly's house, the both they both sat on the couch in awkward silence. "Uhm.. you want to tell me why you were wandering the street in 30 degree weather..?" Lilly questioned softly. "M-my parents," the girl stuttered out " Th-they kicked m-me out b-because I h-h-have p-powers.." she said, getting a little choked up. "Wait for real?!" Lilly exclaimed, happier than she could've. "Mhm," The girl said, shyly taking the compliment."What can you do??" Lilly questioned, " I can teleport, as well as manipulate light" "Care to demonstrate" with that single request, the girl was already on the other side of the room. "Wohoha!" Lilly admired, "sweet!" The girl also had her hand held out, and in a matter of seconds, there was purple light forming in her hands. "SWEET!!" Lilly shouted, but just then, she realized something.. What was this girls name?? "Uh hey, I never really asked this.. But, whats your name?" For the first time, the girl smiled "Stephanie.. Stephanie Lee" "Well, Stephanie.. It looks like you've found your safehouse." Stephanie smiled, "Yeah, I guess I have.."
