December 24.

Christmas eve where all are excited because of gifts and such.

Mom and Auntie's preparing vegetable salad while me and the other kids decorating the Christmas tree and our daddy's decorating the garden.

We're here at Bang Yedam's house to celebrate Christmas. He's my bestfriend since childhood because our parents are bestfriends, too.

He's my bestfriend but to me, he's more than that. I don't know when but I'm falling for him everyday.

"Hyerin-ah.." yedam called me.

"Why?" I asked.

"Let's put this Mistletoe in the doorway" He said while holding tbe mistletoe.

"Which doorway?" I asked because there's so many doorway in their house.

"Maybe the one that is in the kitchen..."

"Okay...." I said as he go outside to bring the portable stairs.

We went to the kitchen to put the Mistletoe in the doorway using the stairs.

"You know the myth?" He asked.

"What myth?"

"..that when two people are under a Mistletoe, they should kiss?" He unbotheredly asked

I was stunned by his questions like-- hey, maybe he forgot, we're under the Mistletoe???

"N-no" I awkwardly said.

We finished setting up the Mistletoe and awkwardly separate ways to help our parents prepare the foods.

12:00

It's already christmas and we're all gathered in the garden with the foods we prepared were set up in a long table.

"Merry Christmas!!!!" We're all said in chorus as we set Christmas audios in a high volume and opening the wine.

"Kids, you go inside and get the gifts" Yedam's mother said.

The kids excitedly run inside to get the gifts.

"Hyerin-ah" my mother called me.

"Yes,mom?" I asked.

"Get the graham cake we made inside the refrigerator in the kitchen.." she asked.

"Okaay.." i said but before I get inside Yedam called me out.

"Hyerin-ah, let me help you. Auntie said that they made two big graham cakes" he said.

"Okayy" i said as we continue to walk inside.

I'm still awkward and anxious because we're going to pass in the doorway where we put the Mistletoe.

Why did I agree to put that there, again?

Gosh. My heart is pounding like crazy.

I fasten my walk and forget what Yedam said but before I even get inside the kitchen he touched my elbow and pull me into him and now we're face to face.

"You forgotten the myth that I told you, have you?" He asked

"Aa.. err.. N-no" awkwardly said.

"Now, what we should do here?" He said as he smirk and looked up while me, like a stone standing in front of him so little.

Yes, so little because I'm 5" flat while him 5'7 or 5'8.

"W-we should get t-he cakes before mom and auntie will s-scold us.." I said nervously.
