Chapter 2 - The newboy

Addie's POV

•Friday•

Today is the day I have to show the newboy around.

All week people have been trying to work out who he is, and I've been getting shit for it cause I will be the first to see him.

I really want to just skip school today and avoid everyone but what can go wrong? I mean I just need to show some new guy around. What am I even saying everything in this world goes wrong for me.

School

When I arrive I go straight to the head teachers office. I get out of class all day so that's a bonus. Outside is a tall boy, super hot looking.

He must be the new guy, I thought to myself.

I go to introduce myself and as I get closer I get this rush of feelings going through my body.

"Hey, I'm Addilyn, but everyone calls me Addie. I think I'm meant to be showing you around?" I say ever so casually.

He looks up at me, his eyes staring into mine

"Hey I'm Matthew, Matthew Espinosa. Yeah I think the head teacher said someone would be along. You look really pretty by the way."

I giggle and blush while thinking 'someone actually called me pretty'

"Thanks, I guess I better start showing you around then" I say softly.

We start to walk down the corridor, neither of us saying a word until Matt turns and looks at me.

"Can you be my friend, I mean I know that sounds weird but I don't know anyone and your just really cute and bubbly" he says in a really loveable way.

"Me? Wait until you see the rest of the girls in this school, you will be running away from me within seconds" I say laughingly.

"Naah, out of all the girls I know already there is just something different about you." he says kindly.

I finish giving Matt the tour of the school and we head back to the head teachers office.

Mr Mulgrew (the head teacher) asks Matt some questions and then asks if he is settling in okay.

"Yeah I am and Addie has been a great help" he says smiling.

"Well seeing as the final bell goes in 30minutes, you can both go home" Mr Mulgrew says.

"Thanks sir" me and Matt say at the exact same time and then burst out into giggles.

We start to walk home together and Matt asks me if I want to go round to his house tomorrow. I say yes and then the rest of the way home we talk about what we are going to do. Watch movies all day.

When I arrive home I realise I'm actually doing something at the weekend rather than just sitting in my bedroom on my laptop all day.

I actually was so excited I planned out what I was going to wear. High waisted shorts, a white lace crop top, a really cute pink hoodie and white converse.

Once I finished doing that I started prowling through my sisters room for some decent makeup. I find her Mac collection, her bare minerals collection and I grabbed some of her makeup brushes.

Matt's POV

I got home and straight away my mum started asking me questions about how I got on. I started telling her about Addie and how she was coming over tomorrow.

I can't stop thinking about her, she keeps going on how no one likes her and don't know how or why. She is really pretty, blonde hair down to her waist, bright blue eyes and pale skin and her personality is great too, always with a smile on her face, even if people are tormenting her.

I go to bed and fall asleep thinking about tomorrow, I literally can't wait!
