"Oh my god Savannah they're both so hot." Kortni says as we reach the bar.

"Ugh yes! Thank you baby Jesus for sending us these good looking men." I say making Kortni laugh. You could definitely say both of us were beyond tipsy.

"Did you guys just buy 10 vegas bombs?" Gus asks coming up behind us.

"Yeah they're for two hot guys," Kortni answers.

"Why the fuck are buying guys drinks?"

"To lur them in. Savannah bring those to the table," She says motioning to some of the drinks we ordered before walking away with out me.

"You shouldn't be buying drinks for guys." Gus says taking the bar stool next to mine as I try to figure out to hold the drinks.

"And why not?"

"Because you should letting guys buy you drinks. They are suppose to be the ones that are making the moves and buying the drinks," he says.

"Well no guy was buying me drinks so I guess I got to buy them myself," I say chugging the rest of my rum and coke so I could carry the drinks easier.

"I'm just saying you and Kortni are amazing and there are plenty of guys that would kill to buy you guys drinks. So you shouldn't waste you time with guys who wont even offer to buy you one." Gus says.

"Well too late, I invested ten Vegas bombs in these guys I'm too far in," I joke quickly realizing there were too many drinks for me to carry.

"Savannah come on girl, you know you are better then that." Gus says.

"Am I? Cause I don't see a line of guys trying to talk to me or buy me a drink." I say with a little more attitude. It was probably the booze in my system but I was definitely short tempered.

"That's not what I meant," Gus says. I was really not in the mood to get advice from Gus on how to get guys.

"So what did you mean exactly?" I question. Gus moved closer to the bar seating down in the bar stool next to me.

"I just think you know how amazing you and you shouldn't waste your time on guys who don't see that," Gus says placing his hand on my leg.

"Well I already did that this summer," I snap back. I didn't mean to rude I was just drunk and annoyed that Gus couldn't even agree to be friends again and now he was playing games again. "Sorry" I quickly say, "I didn't mean it."

"It's ok," he says keeping his hand on my leg. "I didn't realize it before but now I do." Gus says softly leaning in so I could hear him. My heart started to beat faster and I could feel the heat rushing to my checks, I didn't know what to do. I was over my feelings for Gus right? I had to be over my feelings for Gus. Right?

But it wasn't fair he had this control over me, making me blush at just of couple of words that he didn't even mean. "I have to go." I say quickly picking up the drinks and rushing over to where Kortni was.

"What took so long?" Kornti questions.

"Nothing sorry," I say placing the drinks on the table.

"We are loading up," Jeremiah says over the load music. The roommates had decided to have kind of an early night because it was only our first night in Cabo. I quickly say goodbye to the guys we met that night. Taking Nick's number knowing I was never going to call.

Loading in to the van to head back to our hotel we all talked about what a good time we were having in Cabo so far.

All the girls ran from the van to the elevator and as soon as the doors opened on our floor everyone chased out except Gus and I. Gus who slowly walked behind me as I stumbled taking off my shoes down the hallway.

"Savannah..." Gus says grabbing my hand and turning me around to face him. "Can we talk?" He asks.

"Yeah sure What about?" I question confused at Gus's sudden seriousness so late at night.

"About what you said yesterday I-"

"I thought we said we were just going to be friends," I quickly interrupt.

"No, Vannah you said we were going to be just friends I never agreed," he points out making me roll my eyes. "I was stupid for not saying anything last night but I just didn't know how to feel. In the moment i didn't realize how stupid I would be if I didn't tell you I... think we should give us a try."

"No." I say quickly Gus's face quickly changing from a exciting smile to pure shock.

"What?" Gus questions as I start to walk away from him.

"I said no. Like are you being serious Gus because only a couple of hours ago you weren't even talking to me?" I say turning back around to look at him. I started to get angry, my alcohol induced short temper quickly starting to set in. I wasn't about to let Gus come up to me at the end of the night when neither of us were sober and tell me things that weren't true and that he didn't feel. Like he always does.

"Yeah Savannah I'm being serious," he says defensively.

"Yeah well if it's so serious then why don't you talk about when we're sober so then you actually mean it for once." I snap before storming back to the room leaving Gus in the empty hallway.
