Zoey: (Laughs) shut up.

Outside

Chloe: (Walks out)

Arjay: there you go. (Looks at Josh) so y'all making it official.

Chloe: (Laughs and shakes her head) no.  You find any prospects?

Arjay: (Laughs) maybe..(looking around)

Destiny: (looks over)

Chloe: (looks away)

Arjay: what's the story with you and Destiny.

Chloe: we were friends. Now we aren't.

Arjay: (Laughs) but why?

Chloe: Its a long story.

Cardi B comes on. 

You: Ayeeeew

Chloe:uh-oh!.

Arjay: what?

You: (walk outside) okay Chloe! Zoey!....any of my dancers from last year still here? Come on Ari, Josh, I see you Ashton.

They get out the pool.

Arjay: (looks at Chloe) you gone bust a move?

Chloe: (shakes her head)

Arjay: how you wanna be a dancer but shy to dance on the spot. (Smiles)

You: Chloe come on. Where's Zoey.

Arjay: you think you better than me? Show me.

Chloe: okay okay. (Walks out)

You: wait Shay start it over. Where Zoey. Forget it. (Takes out your phone and starts recording)

The song starts

Arjay: (jumps in the pool the turn around to watch)

2 minutes later

Ari: (high fives Chloe) we did that.

Chloe: (laughs)

Zoey: what? I missed it!

Chloe: you better hope he did too.

Zoey: (Pushes her in the pool)

Chloe: (comes back up and wash the water off her face)

Arjay: (Laughs) you good?

Chloe: (Laughs) yeah.

Arjay: I saw you out there doing your little thing.

Chloe: (Laughs) of course if the stage was bigger my moves would've been...(motions her hands) bigger. (Laughs then swims away)

Arjay; (Smiles then swim after her)

9pm

You: (laying in the float)

Chloe: (swims up to you)

You: (look at her) what's up babe?

Chloe: nothing.  (Rests her head on the float looking at you) I'm not going to lie mom. I missed looking at you.

You: (laugh and rub her hair) of course you did. That's all you did as a child. Your dad says you even act like me.

Chloe: (Laughs) okay. I Don't know about all that. 

You: (laugh) I saw you and Josh talking a lot today. Is this happening?

Chloe: what? Nooo. I'm not even into josh.

You: everyone knows you two have been crushing on each other since you were babies.  Are you just...casual?

Chloe: Casual? (Runs her hands through her hair ringing the water out) what do you mean?

You: you know what I mean Chlo.

Chloe : I don't. That's old school talk. (Puts her hair in a bun)

You: are you friends with benefits?

Chloe: (Laughs and shakes her head) no.

You: mmokay.

Chloe: what about you and KB? Y'all good?

You: Watch it.  Stay out of my business.

Chloe: what? You were just all in mine.

You: I'm your mother.

Chloe: (swims around you) okay but you're never in Zoey's Face like this.

You: I live with Zoey.

Chloe: but you don't know everything that's going on with her. Dad..

You: I k..(gco)

Chloe: Dad might not watch me 24/7 but believe me he has someone who is. At home it's Rachel. And when I'm out Nick is usually trailing behind. You leave Zoey alone for hours no telling what she's doing?

You: (looking at Chloe)

Chloe: I'm just saying mom. You trust Zoey more than you trust me

You: I do not. I don't trust you two equally.

Chloe: okay. I have to go change so I can take Arjay home.  (Swims away)

You: let me know before you leave. See I'm trusting you to leave and come back.

-10 minutes later-

Zoey: (sitting by the pool with Destiny and Lucas)

You: (walk over picking up cups)  and then there were 3.

Destiny: (Laughs)

Guy: Destiny you staying the night?

Destiny: yeah. Kiera is going to pick me up tomorrow. She just had to work late.

You: that's fine. Lucas?

Lucas: am I staying the night? (Looks at Zoey)

You: (fake laugh) no. I know Zoey have work 7 am tomorrow. You better not stay to late.

Zoey: 7am?

You: yeah. It's the recital remember? Anyway. I'm going to shower. Then go to bed. (Walks away)
