I feel cold, and tired as I feel myself set adrift by who knows what. Everything is dark. So dark. I couldn't feel anything. It's just, so cold. Then, a light fills the space I'm in, and fills me up with a bit of warmth. I see a silhouette far off in the distance and I tried to approach it, but I am stopped by "Good morning children! It's time to get up!" Just another dream. I get out from my bed as I am greeted with a good morning from my two favourite siblings and best friends, Shinzo, a female Eevee and Seishin, a male Zorua. We are orphans, and we are happy to be together. As the caretakers prepare breakfast for us, we decide to go outside and play in the field. We ran up and down the hill and played tag. But then, the sky began to crack as the sky fill is filled with darkness. We didn't know what to do, so we ran back to the orphanage. But just like a lightning rod, we were struck with three lights right into our chests and fell to the ground. The caretakers that were supervising is and the other children rushed over to us to see if we were hurt. But at that moment, we were all knocked out from the collision. We slowly wake up to find Zae, a female Espeon and the orphans doctor, examining us to see if we were hurt internally. But to our luck, we had no noticeable injuries to our body or brains or what not. We were discharged and headed back for dinner because we were unconscious for so long.

Shinzo: "So what did you think that was?"
Tamashi: "I don't know. I was hit with that blue light thing-"
Shinzo: "Wait, you were hit with a blue light? I thought it was a pink light!"
Seishin: "I thought it was a black light."
Tamashi: "We must've been hit with a different light then, but it did the same effect on all of us. Do you guys think we are actually okay?"
Shinzo: "Eh~ Zae is probably going to do some more checkups for the next few days, I say we don't worry until she worries."
Seishin: "Agreed, it's already pretty annoying when they are so over protective even though they know nothing is wrong with us."
Tamashi: "Well, we are like their own children. Just, you know, there're hundreds of us and only about thirty to fifty of them."
Seishin: "Whatever. Just don't make them worried."
Tamshi & Shinzo: "We know."

The three of us continued our day as if nothing happened, and as the Shinzo said, Zae checked us up in the following days just in case there was anything happening to our bodies. She didn't stop until we exclaimed that all of this was pointless and told her to fix us up if any happens. She agreed and discharged us. I'll be honest, I liked her. She was really kind and caring, and she actually felt more like a mother than the other caretakers who were also caring, but just like a mother, she was so overprotective. It started to get annoying. She'd definitely be one of the few Pokémon I'd like to remember when I get adopted. And after a few years, that day has come.

I was adopted to a nice couple, a female Braxien and a male Chestnaught who really wanted a child, but were too busy to raise one. So they opted for a child that's mature enough to handle themselves when they're too busy, and young enough to get to adjust to a new family really fast. I was the perfect candidate. So, I packed the little things I had. Waved and hugged, my best friends and Zae. Thanked them for a wonderful life when in the orphanage, and took off.

I asked them what their names were. The Braxien answered "I'm Nicole, it's nice to meet you!" "And I'm Woods, it's also a pleasure to meet you!" The Chestnaught responded. "And what should we call you dear?" Asked Nicole. I answered, "you can call me Tamashi!"
