Pieces not whole, yet not shattered,
In one state but forlorn as ever.
Delusional thoughts on wildfire,
Wishful thinkings crave shelter.
Right and wrong, out of sight,
Veiled but still penetrating through.
Senses malfunctioning, battling inside,
Between what could be and is true.
Eyes a shade of black but not quite,
A smile that beams like sunlight.
Manuka honey coated voice,
Sends this heart a million galloping horses.
Constant misinterpretation of trifle actions.
Hopeless and numb
And out of control.
Lost the remote, what have you done?
Logical reasoning sinking into black hole.
As naïve as a rook;
As timid as a pawn.
Not a chance of an open book,
Can’t unravel myself, try if you want.
