Zayn's POV

Growing up life was amazing, I had everything a typical teenager wished for, a wonderful family which included two older brothers Troy and Cody, two younger sisters Emily and Kathy and my parents Richard and Catherine, a hot girlfriend who knew how to take control, living in a mansion with alot of sports cars and two best friends Jaden and Chris and I was enjoying life to the fullest until that night when I lost control.

What I did shocked a lot of people especially my parents, I will never forget the disappointed look on their faces when they heard the news and it was not the type of news that would be forgotten, it was the type of news that tore my family apart. My brothers decided to take a break from the whole family drama, my sisters stayed the same except for Emily who started hang out with the wrong crowd and my parents couldn't stand me anymore so they banned me from the pack and throw me out of the house and ever since I have been doing things a man my age shouldn't be doing.

Knock Knock

''Come in'' I replied to whoever was knocking on the door.

The person who opened the door was none other than Jason, my roommate.

''Hey dude, today we are going to something a lot of teenagers don't enjoy doing'' he stated

With a curious look on my face I asked him the question he himself know I was going to asked. ''And what's that?'''

''We are going back to school'' he answer my question with a smirk.

''And Miley Cyrus is my girlfriend'' I said while returning the smirk

''Zayn I'm serious,  I want to go to college and graduate so I have got to go back to school and pass the last grade in order for me to go to college and graduate''' Jason said with a serious face.

Jason was like a little brother I always wanted and the serious face he had told me he really meant it. I met Jason a couple of months ago the same day I left the gang, it was dark and he was sitting on a bench in a park, what made me go to him was the swolllen up lip and the bruised up face he had. I sat next to him on the bench and decided to be a very nice person and ask him what happened to him.

Five Months Ago

It was around nine o'clock at night and I had just left the Ryder Gang, to say they were angry was an under statement. I was so annoyed that I decided to take a walk and I ended up in the middle of a park which had merry-go-rounds, swings and monkey bars for kids and a couple of trees and benches here and there and one of the benches were occupied by a teenage couple so I thought on sitting on the one which had a boy who looked around my age or maybe younger than me.

Sitting next to him I realised he looked like he was beaten up, it angered me that some douch-bag had the audacity to beat another human being without permission from God, I mean he is the one that created everything so he owns everything in the world.

''Hey, what happened to your face'' I asked the stranger sitting next to me

''My father beat the crap out of me for disrespecting him'' his honesty toke me by surprise that I had to turn around and look and him properly

''Hi my name is Jason McCarthy'' he introduced himself

''And my name is Zayn Knight, oh and sorry about what happened to you'' I told him

''Urg, don't sweat it, its not the first time it happens'' he said while waving his hand in the air.

When he said 'its not the first time it happens' I was curious, does he mean it happens on a daily basis or when he disrespects his father.

''It happens only when I disrespect him'', he answered my unspoken question.

''Any way I'm looking for a roommate and you look like you could use a break from your father'' I informed him ''And its free of charge''

''Ok'' he said without hesitation

From that moment on I always knew he would be a good friend and for some reason I had this feeling that I had to protect him.

Present Time

''Fine'' I told him with a bored look

''Good, everything we need is at school all we have to do is drive to school and pass'', He told me

We both picked up our car keys and headed out the door and went to one place teenagers hated. SCHOOL.
