Chapter 44

"I love you so much", she keeps laughing and presses her lips against mine. "I love you more", I tell her as she hands me the next present.

It's a small box and when I open it I find two concert tickets inside. "All Time Low?!", I ask excitedly and she nods smiling.

"One ticket's for you and well, it's your choice who you're taking with you..", she grins and winks.

"Good, I'm taking Calum with me", I smirk and she sticks her tongue out at me. "Just kidding, babe", I say and kiss her cheek. "Of course I'm taking you with me. Now open your last present", I say and she starts unwrapping it.

I hope she likes it. No, it's probably stupid. Shit, she's gonna be disappointed. She got me All Time Low tickets and what did I get her?

"Oh my god, is that a Polaroid?!" "Yes.. I thought you have so many pictures on your wall but none of us.. at least not yet. That's why I got you this, I know it's weird and I understand if you don't like it but I kinda like those things and-"

"That's so cute, I love it!", she shrieks and hugs me tightly.

"Is it working already?", she asks and I nod. She leans into me and smiles widely, I do the same and she takes a picture.

As the photo comes out we wait until we can see it and Ariana keeps smiling.

"I love this picture", she tells me a few seconds later while looking at it. "And I love the idea!"

"I'm glad you do, I mean I could've gotten you a normal camera but I thought maybe you-"

"This one is better, thank you", she cuts me off again and we both smile.

"I've got two more for you", she tells me and I grab them. "This one's from me and Michael told me to give this to you", she smiles.

Oh shit, he got me a present? I need to get him one as well before we see each other at Ariana's birthday party.

I unpack her present first and smile as I find a few DVDs.

"I checked, you've got none of them already", Ariana tells me proudly and I laugh at her cuteness. "Thanks, princess", I tell her and she grins.

"Now let's see what the weirdo got me", I say and Ariana laughs. I feel like she already knows what's inside.

As I unwrap it a shirt falls outside. "I suck", I read and Ariana bursts into laughter. "I love this shirt", she tells me. "Try it on!"

"What's that supposed to mean?" I act offended but we both know how much the present amuses me.

Michael's one of my best friends, I should've known he's gonna get me something like that.

I put on the shirt and stand up so Ariana can take a picture of me in front of the Christmas tree.

"Now I've already got two pictures for my wall", she winks and I look at the photo.

"I need to show him this when he comes over later", she laughs and looks at me.

"Do you wanna come home with me?", she asks but I shake my head. "I'm gonna spend the day with my family, but thanks for asking", I say and kiss her cheek.

"Okay, but I need to leave soon", she says as she looks at her phone.

"But before I leave, let's take one more picture." I quickly grab one of the cookies mum made and eat half of it. Ariana does the same and we use them as our smiley mouths on the photo.

"I think this is my favorite so far", Ariana tells me a minute later and grins at the photo.

"I really need to leave now, though", she sighs and we both stand up.

"Merry Christmas, I love you", she tells me and hugs me. I guide her to the door and tell her I'll call her later, then we kiss.

Mum's probably watching us, she's too damn curious, but by this time I don't even care about that anymore.

"I love you", I shout after Ariana as she disappears, then I close the door.

"You really do, huh?", I hear someone say behind me. I knew she was at least listening.

"You really do love her." I turn around and see mum smiling at me.

"Yes", I reply, even though this conversation feels weird.

"I do."

*Yawns loudly at this chapter*

Hiii thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed this, I really wanted to write about Christmas even though it's still a few weeks away :D

In the last chapter I asked if anyone's entering their story for the Watty's and I think I got.. one answer? I guess that's a no lol

Oh yeah

DOUBLE UPDATE'S COMING TODAY JUST BECAUSE I SAW NIALL AND HE WAVED AT ME AND I FEEL LIKE WE NEED TO CELEBRATE THIS THROUGH A SURPRISE UPDATE (which isn't a surprise now anymore though)
