She just laughed and rolled her eyes. "I do kind of like it."

"I kind of love it."

I walked back into my dressing room and picked up my phone.

I just smiled and leaned against the wall, realizing I had a boyfriend and also a friend I would never be able to let go of as of now.

"Have you and Fred actually had sex?" I asked, looking over at Alexis as I took a sip of my smoothie.

She took a bite of her ice cream. "Close enough."

"Details!" I exclaimed, my eyebrows in a furrow.

"He's fingered me, twice," she said, nodding, "and I've given him head."

I just raised my eyebrows.

"And do not fret, they have good genes," she said, her eyebrows raised as she looked down at her ice cream.

"Alexis," I giggled out, nudging her elbow.

"They do!" She exclaimed, wiping the side of her mouth, "I was best friends with them before Fred and I happened and they told me everything."

"Really?" I asked, looking over at her.

"Yeah," she said, "I've seen both of them naked, which was traumatizing at the time."

I laughed and bit down on my lip.

"And Fred being in my mouth kind of pr-"

"Alexis," I laughed out, shaking my head.

She laughed and shrugged. "Just saying. Get yourself ready."

I just looked over at her.

"Hey, you never know when it's going to happen with them," she said, "I never expected Fred and I to dabble into anything sexually before actual penetrating sex. They're manipulative."

I just bit back a laugh.

"In the best way," she moaned out, taking another bite of her ice cream, "or at least Fred is. I'm blessed enough to not have been manipulated by your man."

My phone vibrated and I looked down at it.

Alexis was too focused on her ice cream and window shopping, so I texted him back.

I'm not, he asked me to lunch. am I going to get my ass beat if I go

I couldn't help but to giggle.

no, babe. i think he really wants to get to know you

"Hi, I'm desperate for attention," Alexis said.

I just laughed. "Sorry, my brother texted Jo."

"That's dangerous water," she said, looking over at me.

"Tell me about it," I said.

"I'm running low on small bills and I want cookies," she said, "I need change. Let's go in here and ask for some."
