"Stop! You've gone to far, you can't do this!"
"I - I can..."
Every bone in my body ached and I could feel a sharp pain spreading throughout my side.
"We're coming to get you, you stay where you are! That's an order!"
The noise from the ear piece rang in my ears.
"No, wait. I- I got- I got this."
My heart skipped a beat and my breathing became staggered.
Stay focused. Don't close your eyes.
I wobbled over to the corner of the room and knelt down. Blood was all over my face and my hands. Some of it was mine and some of it was theirs.

"J-27 do you copy?"
I turned to see my helmet lying on the ground, cracked in half. I got back up and walked towards it with one hand clutching my side and the other holding a sword with purple blood dripping down from it. I looked up to the creature and stared at it dead in the eyes.
"You aren't getting rid of me that easily. All I have - all I have to do now is kill you."
"J-27 back down right n-"
I chucked the earpiece to my side and put up my sword and winced at the pain coming through my body.
"Come on!" I screamed as the creature stood there lifting its sharp claws up and down as it breathed. It had no eyes. It's blank, rubbery face turned to look at me and it started to fade. I realized what was happening, it was a hologram, a diversion. A loud noise of scrapping metal against the ships floor caught my attention. Something was moving, something was coming, and it was coming quickly. I whipped around as fast as I could and felt a sharp pain through my abdomen and then everything went dark and silent.
