I Hate Clichès

First dates and Sweet Clichès

I can tell Ciara is about to say something, but I stop her. "You know what, I'll just try to forget. Can you guys help me get ready?"

They look at me, knowing I'm still not okay. I plead with my eyes, until they give in.

Finally Jessica smiles, pushing her dirty blonde hair from her face. "Alright ugly betty, let's get to business!"

I laugh.

"You look, um, I..." Calum stutters as I walk over to him.

I smile and place a lock of my curled hair behind my ear. "Thanks. You don't look bad yourself, Cal."

He blushes, checking me out not-so-discreetly, then smirks. "Loving the shirt, so tell me; Have you been a good girl or a bad girl, baby?"

I feel blood rise to my cheeks, before trying to play it off coolly. "Well, you can decide for yourself, because I will never tell."

He chuckles, draping an arm around my waist. "You are piece of work, Tally. Now come on, let's get tickets."

I giggle at his nickname for me, walking over to the stand to get my tickets.

Once we get the tickets, Calum buys a large popcorn and drink, while I buy Jolly-Ranchers (heaven's candy) and Red-vines.

We make our way to the Theatre and pick our seats. In the end we chose to watch a New horror film, Courtesy of Calum, called Annabelle.

After having a debate about this outside, I realised he might have been trying to do the whole I'll protect you and Its okay thing when I get scared; and who says I'm complaining. (Even though it's really clichè, it's also really sweet)

The movie starts and I waste no time taking Calum's hand into mine. He looks over and smiles, raising an eyebrow.

"Excited to get this date started, eh?" He smirks.

I playfully hit his arm and blush again. "Did I not mention that I get scared durring any horror film? Because if I didn't then, here; I hate scary movies!"

He chuckles, pulling me close, despite the armrest between us. "It's okay, I'll protect you, babe."

See I told you! Not that I mind....

I smile and soon the movie starts..

50 minutes in and I'm sitting on Calum's lap, his arms wrapped tightly around my waist, holding me close as the woman on screen asks the little girl who she is. The girl in response runs and turns into a scary looking old woman, knocking the Mom down.

I scream into Calum's shirt, and he strokes my hair.

"It's okay, It's just a movie, Tally. I'll protect you." He coos into my ear.

Suddenly I hear loud moans and other disturbing human sounds coming from behind us. Almost everyone turns around, despite having been terrified.

My eyes widen as I see the last two people I would have ever guessed.

Avery and Molly.

Molly is on Avery's lap, her tongue down his throat and he doesn't seem to be enjoying it. Finally, he pushes her off him and whispers, barely audible, but somehow I still manage to hear it. "This is not how I plan on making her jealous."

He storms off, Molly following him Like a lost pup. As soon as they leave, I turn back to the screen snuggling closer to Calum.

"Are you alright? Wasn't that the douche from the coffee shop?"

"Shh," I whisper. "It doesn't matter. Let's forget about it."

And we do.

"I had a great time tonight, Calum." I say, pulling him in for a hug.

Currently we are standing in front of my house, after having finished the movie. And let me tell you; I WILL NOT BE SLEEPING FOR DAYS!

He smiles and pulls me close, before pulling back, looking me in the eyes. "The pleasure was mine, Babe. Listen I was really hoping we could do this again sometime. I like you."

I feel my heart beat become increased. "You do?" I ask, my voice coming out squeaky.

He place a hand on my cheek, leaning in close. "I do."

He places his lips on mine and I feel shivers of pleasure and happiness go up my spine. I wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him back with a little more force. Soon, he pushes me back, my back hitting the door. I run my fingers through his hair. He moans, and in return presses his hips against mine. I gasp and he takes this opportunity to slip his tongue slip unto my mouth.

I moan loudly and pull him closer.

"Well isn't this sweet, it's your first date and now you're making out. And you said I was the horny one." I hear Jessica laugh.

Calum and I pull away. I stare at a smirking  Ciara and a laughing Jessica. I blush like a madwoman and Calum des the same.

"I think I'll go, Tally. I had an amazing time. Maybe we could do this again? Call me." He stutters out, nervously.

I nod, watching him walk away. Before he gets into his car, I call out to him, running to his side.

"What is it?" He asks, confused.

"This." I say, kissing him again, this time sweetly. He turns the kiss, before getting into the car. We say goodbye and I walk back to my surprised friends.

All night we laugh as I tell then about my night, and even though that movie left me scared for life. I still manage to get sleep, thinking about Calum and the way his lips felt on mine.
