"It's only a matter of time" Peter said as all of the narnians listened carefully "Miraz's men and war machines are on their way. which means those same men aren't protecting his castle" He said and Susan nodded, taking in every word.

"What do you suppose we do your majesty?" Reepicheep asked.

"Start..." Peter was interrupted by Caspian who immediately stopped talking, glaring at Peter. Edmund glanced between the two, seeing a slight rivalry.

"Our only hope, is to strike them before they strike us" Peter said, like it was the most obvious and only plan they have.

"But that's crazy, no one's ever taken that castle" Caspian said in disbelief and Susan started to see Caspian persepctive.

"There's always a first time" Peter said, his frustration only growing.

"We'd have the element of surprise" Trumpkin pointed out  and Caspian looked at Peter.

"But we have the advantage here" Caspian said as Susan name over to stand by him.

"If we dig in, we could probably hold them off indefinatly" Susan said, locking eyes with Peter who almost looked betrayed by her taking Caspian side. But Susan knew it was her job as a Queen to not always agree with her siblings, especially when Peter was being irrational.

"I for one, feel safer underground" Trufflehunter said, snapping Susan out of her thoughts.

"Look, i appreciate what you've done here. But this isn't a fortress, it's a tomb" Peter said, trying to state facts to prove his argument.

"Yes and if they're smart, the telmarines will just wait and starve us out" Edmund said, adding to Peter side of the plan. Peter was just happy that his brother agreed with his plan.

"We could collect nuts!" an editable squirrel said from the corner of the room, looking at Reepicheep.

"Yes, and throw them at the telmarines" Reepicheep said sarcastically, making Edmund smile to himself and Susan to hide laughter.

"Shut up!" Reepicheep said firmly to the squirrel before turning to Peter.

"I think you know where i stand sire" Reep said with a small smile.

Peter nodded and looked to the centaurs, walking over to their leader.

"If we get your troops in, can you handle the guards?" Peter asked and Caspian looked at the centaur, almost begging him not to even agree.

"Or die trying, my liege" The centaur said, bowing his head in respect.

"That's what i'm worried about" Lucy said from where she was sat on the stone table.

Peter looked at his sister in confusion.

"I'm sorry?" He asked.

"Well, you're all acting like there's only two options. dying here, or dying there" Lucy said calmly but making a fair point.

"I'm not sure you've really been listening, Lu" Peter retorted, turning away from her.

"No you're not listening" She argued back as Peter glanced at her again.

"Or have you forgotten who really defeated the white witch Peter?" She asked, taking everyone by surprise.

Peter tried to act like that didn't bother him, but clearly it did.

"I think we've waited for Aslan long enough" Peter said, his voice stern but his heart was in the right place. Lucy looked down, knowing that she couldn't change Peter's mind.

Peter walked out, leaving the narnians to talk amongst themselves.

Edmund stood up to follow Peter, seeing through his faltered confidence.

"Where are you going?" Susan asked and Edmund looked at her.

"To talk to him" Edmund said.

Peter was pacing the dark hallway, looking at the stone walls and all of the memories carved into them.

"That was pretty intense" Edmund said as he turned the corner and found his brother.

"Yeah...well that's just narnia i suppose" Peter said sighing.

"What Lucy said.....she only wanted to remind you why we should wait for Aslan. Personally i think we shouldn't wait but i admire Lucy faith in Aslan" Edmund said.

"If we stick to the plan, everything will work out" Peter said " How do you feel about being on look out and giving signals" Peter said Edmund smirked.

"Not the best job but i could handle it....i would prefer to be on the ground and fighting" he said honestly and Peter just smiled faintly.

"Well in our next fight you can be" Peter said.

"Why do you still treat me like a kid?" Edmund asked.

"We are kids" Peter said mimicking Edmund who just nudged him.

"Okay, fair point" Edmund said "So....when do we travel to Miraz's castle?" Edmund asked

"Tonight" Peter said.
