Prismatic Warrior

Chapter 1

Running through the forest on her daily route, she decides to take a shortcut down a new path she found the other day. As she is running, she notices a strange box that almost reaches her height of 5"7. It doesn't look like a normal box though, considering it has an almost liquid look, with a feel of being solid. She approaches the box and slowly reaches her hand forward to touch it as a bright light suddenly flashes in front of her followed up by a powerful knockback that sends her reeling backwards. She barely manages to notice something flying out of the box during the chaos, heading in the direction of her clan's temple. She tries to get up but passes out due to the powerful force of the knockback; she wakes after a few hours, and after a bit of checking to see if she can actually walk, she heads off towards the temple. As she starts getting closer to the temple she starts getting worried due to a strange feeling that something isn't right. A power...a strange power...is what was causing her to feel as she was; a power that felt like it was calling out to her, like it was whispering to her. As she got to the temple door, her thigh started glowing. What is this!? She thinks to herself in fear, worry, and surprise, while reaching to touch the mysterious glow on her thigh. As she touches it, a bright light shines forth revealing a katana...but not the normal kind! This one looks like beautiful crystal glass. As she is staring at the katana in awe and surprise, she hears a noise coming from within the temple. "W-what the hell!" she says as she starts to slowly open the temple door. "Who's there, show yourself!" she yells as she cautiously walks inside. She starts looking around to see if she can find anything out of the ordinary while thinking to herself: What the hell is going on here? After a couple minutes, she notices a glow coming from under one of the doors and feels that same, strange power that she felt at the entrance...only it's much stronger. The door explodes open as a creature that she's never seen before comes charging out towards her with speed that it clearly doesn't have! She ready's herself into an attack stance as the creature leaps, not at her, but at her katana, causing a blinding flash that makes her drop the katana before it disappears back into her thigh. "W-what the hell just happened...what was that thing!?" she said to herself while looking around confused. She turns around and runs faster than she has ever ran in her life out of the temple, but is stopped by a dizzy feeling that starts to encompass her. Before she knew it, she passed out onto the temple floor followed by a blinding light...vanishing without a trace!
