Episode 6 The King Of Thieves/First Day Of Classes

As they talked Autolycus was feeling a mixture of comfort and unease. He was pretty sure he liked Regina and Robin but he kept having to remind himself that they weren't Xena and Gabrielle. They definitely talked differently then Xena and Gabrielle. Regina was way more sassy than Xena had been and Robin wasn't as much of a jokester as Gabrielle had been. Even so he still felt a very similar connection to them that he hoped would develop if he stayed.

Roland was so excited for his first day of classes. As He and Roger ate breakfast they looked over their class schedules. They had every single class together. Which they were very happy about. They had transfiguration first. When they walked in the classroom they saw the they were early. The transfiguration professor was a tall African-European man wearing a large top-hat and a tomato red Jacket.

Professor Facilier Samdi- Come in. I'm Professor Samdi. Samdi said with a smile.

Roger- Sorry we're early. Roger said nervously.

Samdi- Don't worry about it. Come in. Samdi said happily.

The boys walked in and sat down in front of Professor Samdi. Roland could tell right away that Samdi's magic was similar to his mom's. A small cloud of brown smoke formed on the desk in front of Roland. When it disappears his wand and transfiguration book were in it's place.

Samdi- Are you from the Enchanted Forest? Samdi asked completely surprised.

Roland- I'm from Storybrook. Roland answered calmly.

Samdi- Do you know Regina? Samdi asked curiously.

Roland- Yeah. She's my mom. How do you know her? Roland said calmly.

Just as Samdi was about to answer when the rest of the class started to walk in. Roland opened his book as the rest of the class sat down. He'd have to ask Professor Samdi about his connection to his mom another time.

Professor Samdi was great teacher. He welcomed any question and was happy to repeat instructions. Roland tried to put Professor Samdi's connection to his mom out of his mind. But he couldn't completely do it. Every so often his mind would wonder back to it.

Roland- What was he going to say before everyone else arrived? Roland thought.

After class Roland walked up to Professor Samdi's desk.

Samdi- Can help you? Samdi asked with a smile.

Roland- I was wondering what you were going to say before class. About how you know my mom? Roland asked hopefully.

Samdi's smile faltered. Of course he had been briefed about the young Prince who was going to be attending Hogwarts but he had stupidly forgotten him name. So when he first saw Roland he hadn't 

Samdi- Um. We used to date. Samdi said nervously. He couldn't tell this boy he helped his mother eradicate 4 villages to find and steal ingredients for a sleeping curse.

Roland- Is it ok if I mention you in a letter to my parents? I don't want to bring up anything that might upset them. Roland said calmly.

Samdi thought for a moment.

Samdi- Yes. Its probably better your parents know that I'm teaching you. Samdi said with a smile.

Roland- Ok thanks. It was great class! Roland said happily before following Roger out
