The homecoming game was tonight and everyone was there the stadium packed full of people from all over town. There was no surprise that jackson was there he played every sport possible from football and baseball to being on the swim team and playing soccer. What was a surprise is who he sat with behind the locker house half an hour before the game.
That person was Felix. the nerdiest kid in the school hardly any muscle clung to him and a nervous wreak all the time except when around Jackson. Unannounced to the whole town the star player was gay and dating the top student. They had kept it secret for a while. up until little John found them hiding in a stairwell during lunch. The news spread like wildfire.... If that wildfire was in a desert.
As in to say it stayed between these three.
"tonight's the night felix" jackson whispered to the smaller boy who sat nestled in a Letterman jacket a couple sizes to big.
"what if they kick you off the team?" felix responded looking up at his boyfriend
"then I won't play football and that'll be that. " jackson says simply kissing the top of Felix's head. He knew felix would worry about it but hid mind was set tonight he would come out as gay.
Right as he was about to head out of the locker room John puts s small parcel in Jackson's hands. Jack's opens it then and there and its a rainbow towel that tucks into the back of his shoulder pads making the underneath of them complete rainbow. Also his socks and a bracelet he wore could have been seen from on top of the box.
After the initial shock of oh wait the star player is gay most of the homophobic people up and left which was surprisingly not that large of a portion of the people watching. The game goes on and home team wins by a landslide forty to five. After the end of the game when players families could join them on the field felix ran onto the field as fast as his legs would carry him. when he reached Jackson who had his helmate off now felix grabs the top of his shoulder pads pulling him into a kiss whispering "stinky" in Jackson's ear.
