One • Kenzie's POV •

It was the same boring day,
at the same boring school.

I walked down the halls, beside my best friends.
There was Aurora, who had short strawberry blonde hair. She loved anime, and worshipped shaggy from scooby doo.
Alyssa, who was tall, and had light brown hair. She likes criminology and P!ATD.
Bailey, who had dark blonde hair. She played the euphonium, and did peace signs way too often.

There was also a girl named Kyla, who doesn't go to our school anymore. She has brown hair, and really likes Harry Potter. We always hang out every weekend though.

And of course, there's me. I have dark brown hair, green eyes, and am obsessed with true crime, and YouTube.

"Okay, so I think we go to my house." Bailey did a peace sign as I roll my eyes, she does it too often, to the point she has me doing it as well.

"I think we should go to my house!"
"No mine!"
"Clearly mine!"

I stopped, "Let's just go to the park by my house." I said, and they all looked at each other...

"Okay..." They corresponded, and we texted Kyla about it. I missed Kyla, she was the one who kept everyone together with her spunky personality.

Lunch was boring, as usual. I sat down, and pulled out my phone to go on tumblr. Bailey and Alyssa locked their eyes on Katheryns phone, like little puppets.

I rolled my eyes as the other girls at the table sat down, Arianna, and Aurora sat down as well, but I actually liked them.

I put my earbuds in, just as everyone started talking. I felt someone tap my shoulder, and when i looked to my side, Aurora slid me her phone.

It was a shaggy meme, *up top* I laughed, thankfully it wasn't an anime meme. Then she swiped left, revealing an anime meme.

"Oh you little- you know the drill..." I glared at her. I got off tumblr, and showed her a tcc meme. We had an agreement, if she showed me and anime meme, I showed her a tcc one.

I texted Kyla.

btw, my house. after school

I put my phone away, and waited for lunch to be dismissed. I grabbed my lunchbox, and stood up as they called our row.

"What the hell? Have you guys heard of the new movie coming out? It's about some cartoon characters who are rainbows." Aurora said, squinting at her phone in disbelief.

"That's gay." I said, actually referring to the rainbow part. "Exactly! I want to see it!" Aurora chimed, and screenshotted it.

"What's up ya gay." Alex said, as she slapped aurora arm. "Get away alex, don't try to fight me again." Aurora roled her eyes.

"Beat me up sis, straight up." I said, referring to the tiktok meme. "Kenzie, you haven't posted any recent tiktoks." Alex whined.

"Because if I post them, my account will get deleted." She sighed, "But I love seeing your Dylann Roof ones." I wheezed.

"Jesus fuck, keep it down." I said, and put my finger up to my lip, shushing her. "Natural selection!" She yelled, as we walked down the hall.

"Oh my god, let's go." Aurora said, and I agreed, as we walked away from alex.

"Partin won't stop harassing me for missing papers." Aurora whined, and I rolled my eyes. "What more do you expect from the devil?"

"I guess." She laughed, and shut her locker as I grabbed my sweater. "So.. how's it going with what's-her-name?

"Oh, I don't know." She shrugged, "By the way, I want you to meet some of my online friends on a discord server. I'll send you the invite." She smirked, and I laughed.

"They won't like me. I'll probably scare them with my tcc memes." She nodded, "True!" And with that, she walked into history, and I made my way to English.
