Quite darkness. Seems like such a simple harmless thing, until your stuck with your thoughts. So as I lay there in silence I think. Such a damaging thing, tearing yourself down with every thought until finally the thoughts quite down, as I drift into a restless sleep wishing for it all to just end.

I wake up with the savory smell of bacon and eggs. I get up out of bed and start getting changed. As I was changing my shirt I saw myself in the mirror. The thoughts. They won't leave me alone, they never do. I stand there looking at my imperfections; adding them up one after another.

"KAZ WINTERS! Get your ass downstairs now!" My mom yelled

"Be there in a minute mom!"
I quickly put on my shirt and hurried downstairs.

"You hungry?" My moms smiled warmly and looked at a empty plate.

"I'm good not that hungry right now thank you anyway mom" I starred into her eyes and smiled slightly.

Truth was I was so hungry but I just.. I don't want to gain weight, and if skipping meals assures I don't then so be it. As the clock ticked like a thief that cannot be banished I realized that time was boundless at first blush but now only a prison. I grabbed my bag and left for school.
