— Do we really mean the words that we are saying?
Do we really express what we truly feel inside?
Maybe we are just wearing a mask to run from the cruel reality.

This is a story of a girl with the mask.

— On a Monday morning, she woke up with a heavy feeling in her chest.
Even before she knows it, a tear suddenly fell.

And another tear fell.

Then another one, and another one until it's nonstop.

"Why am I crying?" she asked herself.

She doesn't even know why.

She doesn't have any single idea.

After a few minutes, she wiped away all the tears.

She composed herself.

She stood up and went out of her room.

She did her usual morning routine.

She went to the bath room and took a bath for thirty minutes.

After that, she put on her complete uniform... and her mask.

She arrived at her school at exactly 6:20.

She greeted her friends with a warm smile.

"Do you have an assignment?" one of her friends asked.

"You already know the answer for that." she smirked and suddenly stood up.

"Let's buy food!" she smilingly said.

Her friends shook their head as she went to the canteen.

"Why is she always hungry?" one of her friends asked.

"Is that even a question?" a person who just arrived answered.

They all chuckled.

After a few minutes, the girl is back with a lot of foods.

"Why are you laughing?" she asked.

"Nothing. Just finish your food." her bestfriend answered.

She did it, she ate silently.

After twenty minutes, they decided to go inside their classroom.

The girl yawned.

"Wake me up when our teacher arrives." she said to her seatmate.

"No. We have a quiz, so don't sleep. Don't you know that you're so hard to wake up?" her seatmate said.

"Okay, fine. I'm just going to bother you then." the girl jokingly said.

"Don't you dare." her seatmate uttered and rolled her eyes.

"I'm just kidding." the girl said.

After a few minutes, the teacher has arrived and started the quiz.

The girl sighed.

"What a great way to start this morning." she whispered.
