Y/N x Ban

Chapter One

It's not everyday you're wandering the woods and find a tavern. I walk closer so I can check it out. The sign says “Boar Hat.”

I walk in this forest on this path everyday, and I never saw this before. I get ready to step closer when I hear a voice behind me.

“What is a young lady like you doing out here?” I turn around to the voice talking to me and a child is talking to me. He has blonde hair and he was floating. He looked fairly young, but familiar. “How about we step inside the Boar Hat?”

“I'm good, thank you!” I try to get away, but I trip over a tree branch.

He hovers in front of me and says, “You know, you look a lot like my sister. Just an older version of her. The brown eyes and blonde hair.”

I wasn't sure how I should take that, so I stayed silent. I hear another voice behind me, “Leave the poor lady alone, King, would you? She fell trying to get away from you, ya creep.”

I knew I heard the name before. “The Seven Deadly Sins…” I whispered. I sat up and stayed there. I looked at my legs and my jeans were torn. A tree had ripped through my shirt and even cut some of my arm.

The voice walked over towards King. “What was that?” He said. Ban. The man behind the voice is Ban. “Did you say this girl looks like Elaine?” He took a long look at me. “This girl looks nothing like her. She is more pale, longer face, even her hair is coloured differently.” He began to walk away.

“You guys are King and Ban of the Seven Deadly Sins, aren't you?” I said louder. Ban stopped walking. I stood up.

“Yep.” He continued walking. I attempted to follow him, but I fell again and passed out.

I woke up inside what I guessed to be the boar hat. King was still floating, and right next to me too. He stared at me and said, “Oh. You're finally awake. I'll alert the Captain.”

“No need, King. I'm already here.” Meliodas said. I knew him when I was a child, but haven't been able to see him lately. Almost eleven years ago they were exiled from the kingdom, but that all changed soon after they got Princess Elizabeth to find all the Sins.

“Hey! You're (Y/N) right?”  He looks at me and ask. I nod my head. He hasn't changed a bit since I last remember seeing him. “Been awhile! What's up?”

“You know this girl?” Ban says.

“Yep! She was someone Lil’ Gil and I played with. They always got into arguments, though.”

“That was a long time ago. I haven't seen Gil in a very long time. We moved out here because the kingdom threw you out. We didn't believe you would do anything.”

“And you were right. But that doesn't matter now. We're on good terms with the kingdom now, as you probably know already.”

“Yeah. Your friend's there scared me.”

I didn't notice Ban come in the room, but I look up and see Ban and King look at me. “Yeah, she got scared and tripped on a branch.”

Meliodas laughs and tells them they should be more careful. I look past them and think about everything and anything. “Wait!” I say, suddenly, “What time is it?”

Meliodas looks at me and says, “3:15. Why?”

“My Pa was expecting me to be back before noon…”

“It's been awhile since I've seen him. Mind if I tag along? I can also explain to him what happened.”

“Sure! Besides he-”

“May I come too?” I hear a voice. I look over towards the doorway and see the princess.

“Y-Your highness!” I tried my best to get out of the bed, but failed.

“Please, don't get up yet. Your body isn't ready. Here…” She walks over to me and puts her hand over my heart. There's a green glow coming from her hands.

“Princess? I haven't seen this magic in so long. I would bet my Pa would love to see you as well.” I smile at her and she does the same.

Everyone starts to head out so I can get ready to go back home to my Pa. Seeing Meliodas as well as the princess again would bring a smile to his face.

I stand up right as someone else was leaving the room. “You do look like Elaine. Not exact but similar.” Ban shut the door behind him.
