Love

"NO! WHY?" Today was the day I lost the closest thing to me. My life.
Hi, I'm Suha, Raini Suha. I am 14 years old, but my birthday is in two days. I got the worst birthday present anyone could ask for. I live in Lansing, Michigan with my mom. I don't have any siblings. All of my other relatives either died or live in other countries, and my dad died in the Vietnam War. Finding friends was pretty challenging for me. I went to Everett High School. I ended up becoming best friends with a boy named Alex Hora.
"Hey, Suha! Where are you? I've been calling out to you!" Alex cried out.
"Dude. I've been here the whole time." I answered back.
"Oh..." he said.
Alex was...different. He wasn't like any other boy I had met in school. Little did I know he was leaving pretty soon. I had this gut feeling that something at home wasn't okay. I decided to call him. During our call I was doing homework. We realized that it was already 8:00 p.m. We had to end our call even though neither of us wanted to. Something about seeing him made me happy. I didn't realize until a month into our friendship that I actually liked him. More than a friend. While I slept I had a TERRIFYING nightmare. I started crying when I woke up. I got ready for school and told my mom that I was leaving. She didn't answer back, in fact she was on the phone. Who was she talking to? All I could do was wonder "Who could be talking that loudly this early?" I ignore the fact that my mother avoids me as I leave.
