I knew it!

~Lilith's POV~

just like I use to I was on my roof with Metu looking up at the stars I have the chance to sneak out again but...I don't want to get anyone else hurt I sigh I told Jasmine about what happened with the prince but she thinks my heart was just trying to replace the guy from the marketplace she might be right "princess?" a voice calls I sit up surprised and standing on the roof was the prince from earlier "w...wh?" I ask confused as to how he got up here its not easy unless you've done it before  "It's me...Prince Ali Ahem..." he cleans his throat "Prince Ali Ababwa" he says in a fake deep voice i giggle but cover my mouth trying to not show my nice side "I know who you are your big entrance made that very clear" i tell him making him laugh I look away from him and go to get up he offers me his hand to help me up I go to take it but stop myself and get up without his help "you heard what my sister said didnt you im not going to be your toy" I tell him coldly and walk to the other side of the roof ready to clime down if I had to "No, no, please princess Give me a chance just let me talk to you" he begs as Metu growls at him he backs up and I see him almost fall of the edge of the roof I panic and rush over grabbing his hand and pulling him close to me and away from the edge his hat falls off and I get a good look at him my eyes widen could it be him? he seems to freeze as we lock eyes once again "h...have we met before?" I ask him my heart picking up he gulps but dosent say anything "in the marketplace?" I add hoping that it was him "The marketplace? I have servants that go to the marketplace for me Why I even have servants who go to the marketplace for my servants, so it couldn't have been me you met" he tells me "Oh no I guess not" i say and spet away from him sadly and look at my feet Metu was looking up at me sadly "Um, Princess Lilith? You're very...Punctual!" he says to me confusing me "Punctual?" I ask and look back at him I see panic in his face "Beautiful i...i ment beautiful" he trys to fix what he just said I roll my eyes "let be guess whats next im rich, daughter of a sultan a perfect prize for any prince to marry iv heard it all before by every other stuck up, stuffed shirt, swaggering, plum I've met!" I snap at him and turn away from him picking up Metu "god maybe you should just jump off this roof" I mutter mostly to myself as I lower Metu down off the roof I go to follow when "your right" he tells me stopping me in my tracks I turn to look at him "what?" I ask no sure if I heard him correctly "I said you're right you aren't just some prize to be won you should be free to make your own choices princess so ill just go" he says and turns and jumps I gasp did he really just jump off this roof "no!" I scream as fear sets in he then pokes his head up from over the edge "What? What?" he asks and looks around "How...how are you doing that?" i ask him as he flys up more making me back up "It's a magic carpet" he tells me as said carpet flys closer to me I reach out and touch it it was soft "it's crazy..." I laugh then feel bad "and lovely" i add in case i hurt the carpets feelings "You, uh, you don't want to go for a ride, do you? We could get out of the palace, see the world" he offers and i look up at him "is it safe?" i ask him and he nods and offers me his hand "Sure do you trust me?" he asks me and i look up at him again looking deep into his gorges brown eyes them words that gaze all of it was just like the guy from the marketplace no matter how hard I tried this had to be him i smile and take his hand "yes i do" i tell him he lifts me up on to the Carpet "hold on" he tells me I nod and wrap my arms around his torso as the carpet zooms into the sky 

we both end up at a Chinese New Year celebration and we where sitting on a rooftop watching them this was crazy though out the whole magic carpet ride he just proved me right I was so sure it was him "It's all so magical" i tell him while watching the fireworks "Yeah" he says while looking at me i blush and take a deep breath nows my only chance to find out "It's a shame Abu had to miss this" i say and look at him seeing if he drops any hints that I was right "Nah he hates fireworks he doesn't really like flying either that is...oh no!" he says as i grab his hat and take it off him again "i knew it you are the guy from the market!" i say happily now knowing he's alive I jump into his arms shocking him and knocking him down then I quickly sit up looking down at him "wait why did you lie to me? do you know how scared I was when I thought you had died?" i ask starting to get mad at him "Lilith, I'm so sorry" he tells me with worried look in his eyes "do I really look like some ditsy princess to you?" I ask hurt he sees this and places his hand on my cheek "no not at all i mean, I hoped you wouldn't figure it out this quickly No, that's not what I meant" he tells me I get off him and cross my arms "who are you tell me the truth" i ask him that's the only thing I truly wanted to know "The truth? the truth...the truth is...i sometimes dress as a commoner to escape the pressures of palace life but I really am a prince!" he tells me as the feather on his hat falls down over his eyes "Why didn't you just tell me that?" I ask him not like I could talk he only found out I was a princess because of the guards "Well, you know, um...royalty going out into the city in disguise, it sounds a little strange don't you think?" he asks me giving me a sly smile making me laugh "ok ill give you that one" i tell him and flick up the feather on his hat then i sit closer to him and cuddle with him I felt like I could trust him more knowing he was the guy from the marketplace 

*time skip later when we get back home*

Ali helps me off the Carpet and back on to my balcony then flots under it so he is looking up at me "Good night, my handsome prince" i say with a sweet voice as i lean over to look him in the eyes "Sleep well, princess" Ali says looking into my eyes should i kiss him or...but before i could do anything Carpet pushes Ali up and our lips meet i close my eyes and enjoy the kiss in till i hear Jasmine clean her throte i pull away slowly "i have to go but i had a lovely time Ali" i tell him and walk away from him and back into my room
